Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki (Swear by your love) is an Indian Hindi romantic television series that aired from 7 March 2016 to 27 July 2018 on Colors TV.[1] Kratika Sengar and Sharad Malhotra played the lead roles in a saga of lovers reuniting after rebirths.[2]

While Sharad played two characters of Rishi and Ranbir, Kratika played three characters of Tanu/Tanvi, Tanuja and Kritika. The show was one of the most successful show.

Plot

Chapter 01:

Rishi and Tanu are childhood best friend. On Lori Rishi was going fall in to the river but Tanu save him.The family took them to the temple where a Kali devotees tell them that Rishi and Tanu love story Will be a idol for all over the world and they'll meet every life none can separate them. On the other hand Rano comes to know Raj does not tell her that they can go America. In the next morning.Raj tells veeru that he wants to married her son Rishi with Tanu.But Veeru gives him a condition to leave for America. Raj agreed with him. Veeru also agreed with his proposal. In the meantime Katyani ba told them that Rishi and Tanu need to get married before they turn 23 as it might lead to his dead if it doesn't happen . Soon Rani gets happy to know Virendra was able to convince Raj to leave for America. Raj leave for America.

17 years later

Rishi and Tanu grown up. Rishi lives in America but Tanu is still in India and wait for Rishi 17 years. She also think Rishi have to come India . On the other hand Rishi is now a Mix Martial Art fighter. To save his brother Rishi fights against Mike . Tanu gets concerned as locket fall into the burning coals and tried to save it . In the meantime Rishi wins the match. Raj want to go INDIA . But Rano doesn't wants to go. Virendra Sent an mail from India to come back to India.Rano replied that Rishi has moved on in his life.Raj comes back with Rishi. Sharda finds out that Bani is a chiter . Virendra and Sharda die in an terrorist attack in College. Tanu went Airport for interview Where Rishi also present. Tanu and Rishi get a shocked. Tanu and Ahana reached Mumbai. Rishi meet Tanu and fall in love with her. Tanu and Ahana meet with Raj. Bani introduce them Raj Tanu as Tanvi and make Neha as Tanu. Raj fixed Rishi's wedding with fake Tanu (Neha). Bani told Tanu that a priest told her to called Neha as Tanu and also that Raj wants to marry Neha with Rishi. On the engagement day Rishi knows he was getting married is Tanu a

and whom he is in love she is Tanvi not Tanu. Bani fixed Tanu's married with Pawan who is already married but he wants to use TANU as a surrogate. On the wedding day Rishi kidnapped Tanvi and take her to the Old Kali Maa Tample. After take her there Rishi knows all the truth that whom he is in love is the real Tanu and whom he was going to marry is Neha Bani's daughr.te Rishi and Tanu gets married. Pawan gets furious he hired some goon's to kill them . Raj knows all the truth. Neha called her boyfriend and told him that Rishi molested her. Sandy gets furious and he went to kill Rishi. Sandy shoot Rishi but Tanu saves him. Tanu dies. Before die Tanu promise Rishi that she'll come back again to fulfill her promise and Oath. Rishi missed Tanu. On the other hand a unknown couple birth a baby girl named Tanuja

Chapter 02:

20 years later

In actually Tanu has reborn as Tanuja in the house of Neha and Sandy lived in Amritsar.Neha and Sandy has two children Vidhi & Nidhi. On the other hand Rishi is now an big businessman but he doesn't believe in love.Manpreet and Ahana are also married they have also two children Smiley and Chintu. Bani and Neha's evill plan bring Tanuja in Mumbai. After coming Mumbai Tanuja feels connected with the city. Rano wants to marry Rishi with her friend's daughter Malika. Rishi agree with that proposal and everyone shocked with his decision. At restaurants Rishi expose Malika. Rano gets angry with him and blame it for Ahana.Bani sent Tanuja , Vidhi, Nidhi in the Bedi house. Tanuja enter the Bedi house. A priest told the family that Rishi kaal has. After hearing that Rishi think that Tanu promised that she'll come back when his kaal will come back. Rishi is missing Tanuja badly. Tanuja was searching a job in Mumbai and she also get a job in Rishi's office. Rishi hate Tanuja. Kaytani baa meets with Rishi and told him that Tanu has come back to fulfill her promise. But Rishi doesn't believe in that. Rishi and Tanuja meet with each other. Rishi fired Tanuja from office. But Biji appoint her as her caretaker. On Ganesh Puja Rishi finds out that Tanuja is Sandy's daughter after hearing that Rishi who has smile after 20 years has heartbroken. On the veneration fire's break out for saving Rishi's life Tanuja's face damaged.

3 Months later

Tanuja's plastic surgery has been done and her bandage will remove today after removed her bandage she is shocked to see her face cause her face is replaced with Tanu's face. On the other hand Rishi has become very cheerful. Now he behave everyone liked 20 years ago. But Tanuja is tensed so she wants to talk with Rishi. Neha and Bani's evill plan sent Tanuja to the Bedi house. After reaching the house Ahana think that Tanu is alive. Everyone in the house is happy to see Tanu. When she tell them that she's Tanuja her face replaced with Tanu's face Rishi come home see her . Rishi get furious and throw her from the house. Tanuja went to the Kali temple where Kaytani baa told her that she's not Tanuja she's Tanu also said Maa Kali sent her again to reunite with Rishi and fulfilled her promise which she was unable to fulfill in her past life. But Tanuja doesn't believe in that. In the next day Rishi comes to the Kali temple after 20 years but she was unable to meet Tanuja. Rishi's American friend Malaika enter Rishi's life. Tanuja meet with an accident with Malaika car . She brought Tanuja to the house. Some people went there house and told if they throw out Tanuja from the house then they'll take an action. Raj told that she'll stay with them. Rishi started feel for Tanuja so Rano decided to marry Rishi and Malaika. Tanuja fall in love with Rishi.On a morning Malaika and Rishi was going to a restaurant but Malaika forcefully take Tanuja with them. Terrorist attack on the hotel. Rishi save every one life but a terrorist shoot Rishi but Tanuja come between to save Rishi's life. Tanuja get shoot. Rishi realized his past that Tanu also saved his in the same way. Rishi take her to the hospital. Rishi is in love with Tanuja for get rid of this feeling he agreed with Rano decision. On the engagement day Raj knows that Malaika has a boyfriend and also find out that she has a bad intention. In the marriage ceremony Raj replaced Tanuja in Malaika place. Rishi Tanuja get married. Everyone finds out that Tanuja is pregnant . Rishi wants to divorce Tanuja after hearing that. But in actually smiley in pregnant Tanuja was saving her . At last moment when Tanuja was going to throw out from the house Smiley come and revail all the truth. Rishi feel guilty and he went to Tanuja for apologize. By Rano's trick Rishi agree to marry Malaika. Rishi expose Malaika . Rishi and Tanuja express there feeling to each other. Bani create misunderstanding between Rishi and Tanuja. Tanuja had an accident and she remembers everything about her past life and also knows that it is her reincarnation in her previous birth she could not fulfill her oath so she took rebirth to reunite with Rishi. But Kaitani Baa said that if she came into Rishi's life , his life would be ruined. He further said that she is not a blessed for Rishi, he is a curse for t Rishi. Kaytani Baa further said that the red color of Tanujar's vermilion would turn into the death of Rishi.
