Naruto: Narutimate Hero 2 (ＮＡＲＵＴＯ-ナルト- ナルティメットヒーロー２) is the second title in the fighting game series Naruto: Narutimate Hero for the Playstation 2. It is based off of the popular anime and manga series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. On January 4, Namco Bandai confirmed [citation needed] that this game will be released in the US under the title Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2. It is set for a Spring 2007 release. IGN.com states that ultimate ninja 2 is going to be released may 2007.

Features
The game features a unique battle system with special attacks and various jutsu that can be equipped. It also features tons of items, like kunai, shuriken, pinwheels, and explosive tags. There are many multi-layered stages from around the Naruto world, including the Hidden Mist Village, the Hidden Sand Village, the Chūnin exam arena, and the Forest of Death. There are a total of 33 characters to choose from. The game also features a RPG-esque story mode, the first half of which was taken directly from the series, and the second half was made up for the game.
