Needs some info on Bigfoot 1980s animated series and merchandise.
- I recently obtained the July 1990 issue of 4 Wheel and Off Road, which discussed Bigfoot 9, not Bigfoot 8. I also watched an old tape I have of the Memphis, TN race in question, and indeed, announcers Scott Douglass and Army Armstrong were discussing the debuting Bigfoot 8, which lost to Equalizer in the final round. My apologies for disputing this.
Sources
Obviously, no sources have been cited yet in this page. I would like to know how to do so. Most of the information I gathered for this article came from various Bigfoot videos and interviews. Other information, such as Bigfoot #8 being banned from TNT, came from sources such as Peterson's 4 Wheel and Off Road Magazine. How do I cite these sources on this page?
- Try their website, 4wor.com - some articles are on there, and those would be easier to cite. Zchris87v 19:24, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Useless Line
What exactly does saying "Towards the end of the century, General Motors would begin applying this technology to their full-size Chevrolet and GMC pickups." do for the article, it seems pointless and not describing the subject.
- At first I thought it had a purpose, but I removed it because it didn't. It could be someone who likes Ford trying to insinuate that Chevrolet "copied" this, or that Chevrolet models their vehicles after monster trucks. Probably not, but still, it seems to have no real purpose. The Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 had four wheel steering, all wheel drive, and four wheels (essentially the same - most monster trucks don't have AWD essentially, I do believe). Removed because its pertinence is not really clear, add it back in if you can find a reason it belonged there. Zchris87v 19:24, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- The original use of four wheel steering on a 4x4 truck was the Jeffrey Quad before World War One. (Circa 1915.) Nash bought Jeffrey and continued to build the Quad through the war years. Bigfoot was a long way from being first with a 4x4x4. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bizzybody (talk • contribs) 08:12, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Team Bigfoot's alleged switch to GM
I would like to point out that Bigfoot and GM have not, and i repeat HAVE NOT Penned a deal with GM. The only reason why there is a truck in the Bigfoot fleet with Chevy skin is because of the MLB All-Star Game truck, and the only reason that truck has the Bow tie is because Chevy is a sponsor of Major League Baseball, and it is a one time deal. until there is something about an official switch to Chevy is announced on the Official Bigfoot website, or the official Bigfoot and Midwest 4x4 facebook pages, please stop saying that they switched over, i'm getting tired of having to clear the page of BS.
