The Toronto Suburban Railway Company was one of many inter-urban or radial railways with streetcar-like service in the Toronto area. It was acquired by Canadian Northern Railways (name changed to CNR in 1917) in 1911 and sold the Toronto based routes to Toronto Transportation Commission (later Toronto Transit Commission) in 1923.
