Mount Joy, Ontario is a community located in north part of Markham, Ontario near Highway 48 and 16th Avenue and is likely part of the former Village of Markham.

Like Quantztown, Ontario, the former farm land in the area has given way to new homes. The area retains the small farm town with Markham Museum nearby.
