Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Power level (Dragon Ball) 16:25, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Let me notify you why I'm warning you, according to your contributions, you're constantly changing Category:Manga and anime characters who can fly to a category that doesn't exist Category:Anime and manga characters who can fly. I suggest you stop doing that and quit being so dense. Power level (Dragon Ball) 16:28, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Sonorasaurus, you will be blocked. A link to the edit you made can be found here. I suggest you assume good faith and stop being a dick while going about vandalizing pages. Power level (Dragon Ball) 17:03, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your Recent Vandalism

This is your last warning. Such vandalism that you have done will not be tolerated, and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia next time. Is that clear? Do not create Category:Anime and manga characters who can fly and then remove content such as Category:Manga and anime characters who can fly from Wikipedia articles! Keep in mind that the next time you perform such malicious behaviour, I will report you to WP:ANI. I now have you on my watchlist you disruptive user! Power level (Dragon Ball) 18:11, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am now going to report both you and 125.164.161.33 to WP:ANI for being possibly involed in sockpuppetry/meatpuppetry. Power level (Dragon Ball) 07:25, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notice to user

As you can see above, there's been quite a bit of controversy surrounding you since you were last online. This basically all stems from the fact that another user disagreed with some of your category edits, and believing them to be vandalism undid all of them and reported you for them. The main problem seems to have been that you started moving articles from one category to another, new one that doesn't exist yet. Based on the pattern of those edits I assume that you made the move because you saw that it'd been suggested already on the Categories to Rename page. However, since none of those proposals had closed yet (each remains open for a week, typically) it was a bit premature to start making those changes. Instead, it would be better (and easier) to wait for the proposal to be closed, at which point (assuming it succeeds, which they all appear they will) an automated program (called a bot) will proceed through the list and instantly move all of the affected articles (saving you the trouble).

Since I don't believe that you've been deliberately disruptive (as claimed above) I'd like to invite you to sign up for a username on Wikipedia (to make it easier to message you, since you seem to have a rotating IP address), and ask me any questions that you might have if you want to learn more about Wikipedia. I'm a member of the adopt-a-user program (as an adopter) and would be happy to adopt you through the program, to help you learn your way around and to get used to the procedures and policies here at Wikipedia. Notice to Admins

If you're here in response to another complaint from User:Power level (Dragon Ball) I want to request that you take a moment before implementing any ban. Since this is a new user, seemingly unfamiliar with Wikipedia procedures, I would like to act as their advocate. I believe that the warnings placed above are inappropriate, being examples of WP:BITE, and that the user placing them failed to WP:AGF. I've reviewed the anons contribution log, and the only things that I can find (that Power level refers to as "vandalism") are examples of the anon inappropriately acting on category renaming proposals before the proposal has been properly closed (though in each case it seems destined to pass without opposition), and adding a new category to some pages without actually creating the category page first (so that it appears as a redlink). I don't believe either of these things to be vandalism to the point that warrants a reaction such as the one that I've seen from Power level, I think that they're both simply a case of misunderstood procedures that often happens where new users are concerned. You'll see that above this I volunteered to help this user learn the ropes around here, as I think that teaching is a far better answer to this problem then scaring away or banning the new user. Please give them another chance to get a username and participate properly, before you ban them for something that I don't even believe qualifies as vandalism. Thank you. --Maelwys 18:35, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
