WDIV is the NBC television station based in Detroit, Michigan. It is one of the few major television stations in the area whose offices and studios are located in the city of Detroit (its transmitters are located in Southfield, Michigan). Currently owned by the Washington Post Company through the Post-Newsweek Stations group, it was the first television station in Michigan.
