Kamen Rider Revice (仮面ライダーリバイス, Kamen Raidā Ribaisu) is a Japanese tokusatsu drama. It is the 32nd entry in the Kamen Rider franchise and the third series of the Reiwa period, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the franchise.

Shiawaseyu

The Shiawaseyu (しあわせ湯, Happy Spa) is a sentō run by the Igarashi family.[1][2]

Kamen Rider Revice

Kamen Rider Revice is the titular duo of Ikki Igarashi and his inner demon partner Vice. When the former utilizes the Rex Vistamp (レックスバイスタンプ, Rekkusu Baisutanpu) in conjunction with the Revice Driver (リバイスドライバー, Ribaisu Doraibā) belt, Ikki and Vice transform into Kamen Riders Revi and Vice Rex Genome (レックスゲノム, Rekkusu Genomu) respectively.[3][1][4] While transformed, Vice gains a physical form and the Buddy Buckle (バディバックル, Badi Bakkuru) power source belt which connects to his host's transformation device via the built-in Genome Receiver (ゲノムレシーバー, Genomu Reshībā). As Rex Genome, they gain enhanced leg and tail strength respectively. They also share three sidearms: the Ohinbuster 50 (オーインバスター50, Ōinbasutā Fifuti), which can interchange between Axe Mode (アックスモード, Akkusu Mōdo) and Gun Mode (ガンモード, Gan Mōdo);[1][4] the Gundephone 50 (ガンデフォン50, Gandefon Fifuti), which can interchange between Phone Mode (フォンモード, Fon Mōdo) and Gun Mode;[5] and the Osutoderuhammer 50 (オストデルハンマー50, Osutoderuhanmā Fifuti), which can combine with the Ohinbuster 50 to form the Revicelasher (リバイスラッシャー, Ribaisurasshā).[6][7] As both Revi and Vice are separate halves of Revice's forms, they can also fuse into a giant animal based on their current form known as a Remix (リミックス, Rimikkusu).[3][8][4] Additionally, the duo possess several other Vistamps, each of which is based on a different animal, and their corresponding Genome (ゲノム, Genomu) forms are modeled after a different past Heisei or Reiwa Kamen Rider:

  • Eagle Genome (イーグルゲノム, Īguru Genomu): A Kamen Rider W themed form accessed from the Eagle (イーグル, Īguru) Vistamp that grants Revi and Vice aerokinetic abilities.[8][5]
  • Mammoth Genome (マンモスゲノム, Manmosu Genomu): A Kamen Rider Den-O-themed form accessed from the Mammoth (マンモス, Manmosu) Vistamp that arms Revi with a pair of Mammoth Gasher (マンモスガッシャー, Manmosu Gasshā) boomerangs and Vice with twin Glacier Shields (グレイシャシールド, Gureisha Shīrudo).[9][10]
  • Ptera Genome (プテラゲノム, Putera Genomu): A Kamen Rider Faiz-themed form accessed from the Ptera (プテラ, Putera) Vistamp that allows Revi to run at supersonic speed and transforms Vice into a hoverbike for Revi to use.[11][12] Vice in this form first appears in the Kamen Rider Revice film of the same name.[13]
  • Lion Genome (ライオンゲノム, Raion Genomu): A Kamen Rider Kuuga-themed form accessed from the Lion (ライオン, Raion) Vistamp that grants Revice pyrokinetic abilities.[14][15]
  • Megalodon Genome (メガロドンゲノム, Megarodon Genomu): A Kamen Rider Decade-themed accessed from the Megalodon (メガロドン, Megarodon) Vistamp that arms Revi with a pair of Divine Swords (ディヴァインソード, Divain Sōdo).[16][17] This form first appears in the Kamen Rider Revice film of the same name.[13]
  • Jackal Genome (ジャッカルゲノム, Jakkaru Genomu): A Kamen Rider Ex-Aid-themed form accessed from the Jackal (ジャッカル, Jakkaru) Vistamp that grants Revi proficiency in urban warfare and transforms Vice into a skateboard for Revi to use.[18][19]
  • Kong Genome (コングゲノム, Kongu Genomu): A Kamen Rider Fourze-themed form accessed from the Kong (コング, Kongu) Vistamp that grants Revi and Vice super-strength.[6][7]
  • Kamakiri Genome (カマキリゲノム, Kamakiri Genomu): A Kamen Rider Gaim-themed form accessed from the Kamakiri (カマキリ) Vistamp that arms Revi with the Kamakiric Arrow (カマキリックアロー, Kamakirikku Arō) bow that can split into a pair of daggers and Vice with mantis-oriented kenpō.[20][21]
  • Brachio Genome (ブラキオゲノム, Burakio Genomu): A Kamen Rider Zi-O-themed form accessed from the Brachio (ブラキオ, Burakio) Vistamp that gives Revi near-future precognition and increases Vice's defensive power.[22][23]
  • Condor Genome (コンドルゲノム, Kondoru Genomu): A Kamen Rider Joker-themed form accessed from the Condor (コンドル, Kondoru) Vistamp that possesses half of Eagle Genome's power. This form appears exclusively in the film Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations.[24][25]
  • Neo Batta Genome (ネオバッタゲノム, Neo Batta Genomu): A Kamen Rider Zero-One-themed form accessed from the Neo Batta (ネオバッタ) Vistamp, an alternate version of Kamen Rider Demons' Batta Vistamp. This form first appears in the film Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations.[25][26]
  • Kangaroo Genome (カンガルーゲノム, Kangarū Genomu): A Kamen Rider Build-themed form accessed from the Kangaroo (カンガルー, Kangarū) Vistamp that grants Revi a pair of boxing gloves and increased boxing capabilities and shrinks Vice so he can reside in Revi's pouch. This form appears exclusively in the Hyper Battle DVD special.[27][28]

Additionally, Ikki can utilize unique Vistamps to achieve stronger versions of his Rex Genome form:

  • Barid Rex Genome (バリッドレックスゲノム, Bariddo Rekkusu Genomu): A form accessed from the dinosaur egg-themed Barid Rex (バリッドレックス, Bariddo Rekkusu) Vistamp that grants Revi the power of 10 Vistamps, cryokinesis, and the ability to create constructs of his Remix forms for combat support. While Vice remains in his Rex Genome, he compensates with the Barid Shield (バリッドシールド, Bariddo Shīrudo), a DIY shield he built from by-products of Ikki's transformation.[29][30]
    • Volcano Rex Genome (ボルケーノレックスゲノム, Borukēno Rekkusu Genomu): A form accessed from the Barid Rex and Volcano (ボルケーノ, Borukēno) Vistamps that grants Revi pyrokinesis and Vice a variation of Revi's Barid Rex form and powers.[31][32]
  • Kamen Rider Jack Revice (仮面ライダージャックリバイス, Kamen Raidā Jakku Ribaisu): An imperfect fusion form accessed from the brass knuckle/paint roller-themed Rolling (ローリング, Rōringu) Vistamp that initially swaps Revi and Vice's corporeal states before slowly fusing them together.[33][34][35]
    • Kamen Rider Revice: The true form of Jack Revice accessed from the storm-themed Thunder Gale (サンダーゲイル, Sandā Geiru) Vistamp that completes Revice's fusion and grants electrokinesis, use of the Rolling Vistamp as a weapon on its own and in conjunction with the Ohinbuster 50, and Vice a separate corporeal body.[36][37][38][39]

Ikki Igarashi

Ikki Igarashi (五十嵐 一輝, Igarashi Ikki) is the oldest son of the Igarashi family who can become Kamen Rider Revi (仮面ライダーリバイ, Kamen Raidā Ribai).[40] Originally, he was a promising soccer player who abandoned his career to live a normal life and help with the Igarashi family business out of guilt for accidentally injuring his friend Kōji "Zico" Ikeyama (池山 浩二, Ikeyama Kōji) during high school. Additionally, he formed a contract with Vice to protect his family from Vail as a child, but repressed the memory. However, the Deadmans' threat on his family causes him to accept Fenix's offer to join them in their battle against the evil cult.[41][42][11][43] Amidst their battles together, Ikki and Vice end up merging together, causing the former's repressed memories to resurface, and discover Ikki and his siblings are Giff's descendants.[44]

Ikki Igarashi is portrayed by Kentaro Maeda (前田 拳太郎, Maeda Kentarō).[40][41][42] As a child, Ikki is portrayed by Atsuki Morinaga (盛永 晶月, Morinaga Atsuki) in episodes 9-11 and Yurito Mori (森 優理斗, Mori Yurito) in episode 25.

Vice

Vice (バイス, Baisu) is the benevolent yet mischievous and wisecracking inner demon who embodies Ikki's repressed desires and selfishness.[45] As Ikki is the only person to perceive his presence initially, the latter's transformation allows Vice to become Kamen Rider Vice (仮面ライダーバイス, Kamen Raidā Baisu).[40][42] Thanks to his contract with Ikki, Vice obtains a corporeal form, which he uses to assist and protect Ikki as their lives are linked and should Ikki die, he will also perish. Moreover, Vice has a habit of breaking the fourth wall. After Ikki acquires the Gundephone 50, Vice can enter its system, which allows him to communicate with people without transforming.[16]

Late into the series, it is revealed that Vice first manifested during Ikki's childhood when Vail destroyed the first version of Shiawaseyu and formed a contract with the boy to protect Ikki's family. Ikki repressed the memory while Vice went dormant until the former acquires the Revice Driver in the present.[44] Furthermore, Vice became a technological genius following his re-awakening, which he primarily uses to maintain Ikki's father, Genta's, desire promoting Shiawaseyu through online videos.[39]

Vice is voiced by Subaru Kimura (木村 昴, Kimura Subaru),[40][41][42] who also portrays a fictionalized version of himself in episodes 30 and 31.[46][47]

Kamen Riders Live and Evil

Kamen Riders Live and Evil are two Riders who share one body between Daiji Igarashi and his inner demon, Kagero. They utilize the Bat (バット, Batto) Vistamp in conjunction with the Two SiDriver (ツーサイドライバー, Tsū Saidoraibā) belt and the Two Side Weapon (ツーサイドウェポン, Tsū Saido Wepon) in one of its two modes in order to transform.[48]

  • If Daiji is in control of his body, he will use the Two Side Weapon in its Live Gun (ライブガン, Raibu Gun) mode to transform into Kamen Rider Live (仮面ライダーライブ, Kamen Raidā Raibu).[22][48] While transformed, he gains increased agility and precision.
    • Through the use of the Holy Wing (ホーリーウイング, Hōrī Uingu) Vistamp, originally the Crow (クロウ, Kurō) Vistamp, Daiji can transform into Kamen Rider Holy Live (仮面ライダーホーリーライブ, Kamen Raidā Hōrī Raibu). While transformed, he gains the use of a pair of Innocence Wings (イノセンスウイング, Inosensu Uingu).[49][50]
  • If Kagero is in control of Daiji's body, he will use the Two Side Weapon in its Evil Blade (エビルブレード, Ebiru Burēdo) mode to transform into Kamen Rider Evil (仮面ライダーエビル, Kamen Raidā Ebiru).[6] While transformed, he gains the ability to fly and increased stealth.[48]

Similarly to Revi, Live and Evil can also utilize other Vistamps to assume Heisei Kamen Rider-themed Genomes forms. However, if Kagero is in control of Daiji's body, he will instead assume dark Heisei Kamen Rider-themed forms:

  • Jackal: A Kamen Rider Ex-Aid-themed Vistamp that transforms Evil into a Kamen Rider Genm-themed Genome and grants him and Live super-speed.[6][51]

Daiji Igarashi and Kagero are portrayed by Wataru Hyuga (日向 亘, Hyūga Wataru).[40][42] As a child, Daiji is portrayed by Atsuki Yamada (山田 暖絆, Yamada Atsuki).

Daiji Igarashi

Daiji Igarashi (五十嵐 大二, Igarashi Daiji) is Ikki's athletic younger brother and an honor student who volunteers to work for Fenix as a squad leader and the intended recipient of the Revice Driver before his brother, Ikki, gets ahold of it.[2][42] Following the latter event and Hiromi Kadota's failed attempt to use the Revice Driver, Daiji is left traumatized.[1] Although Daiji holds no ill intent towards Ikki, the former's desire to stand out stems from a mix of jealousy and an inferiority complex towards the latter, resulting his own inner demon, Kagero, immediately possessing his body shortly before Daiji receives new Rider equipment from George Karizaki.[52][16] Kagero attempts to use Daiji to kill Ikki and Vice, but Daiji becomes aware of Kagero's presence and initially struggles to keep the demon from hurting his family until he realizes that they have always looked up to him, allowing him to regain control of his body.[18][22][48] Upon discovering he and his siblings are descendants of Giff and being separated from Kagero, Daiji settles his differences with the latter in combat.[49]

Kagero

Kagero (カゲロウ, Kagerō) is Daiji's malevolent inner demon who embodies his host's jealousy and inferiority complex towards Ikki and trauma overusing from George Karizaki's Vistamp-based Rider System. At the time of his awakening, Kagero briefly possesses Daiji's body and secretly steals a Vistamp from Fenix. When Karizaki noticed Kagero's presence within Daiji's body, he allows Daiji to transform into a Kamen Rider for the first time, allowing Kagero to completely possess his host's body.[48] After he joins Deadmans, Fenix's executives and Daiji discover what happened and the former bar the latter's family from knowing until Kagero reveals his presence to them.[14][16][6] While attempting to eliminate Ikki, Kagero discovers Karizaki used him to help Daiji regain control of his body before Kamen Rider Revice defeat him.[22] Despite this, Kagero is able to retake control when his host becomes incapacitated.[29] After developing a taste for Sakura's spicy curry, Kagero becomes protective of her to ensure she can keep feeding him his favorite food.[53] Gradually weakening after the Igarashi siblings discover their connection to Giff, Kagero acquires the Crow Vistamp and uses it to separate himself from Daiji so they can settle their differences in a duel. Daiji emerges victorious and Kagero gives him the Vistamp before dying.[49]

Sakura Igarashi

Sakura Igarashi (五十嵐 さくら, Igarashi Sakura) is Ikki and Daiji's younger sister, a high school student, and a karateka.[1][42] Following Kagero's awakening and possession of Daiji, Sakura develops a grudge against Deadmans for ruining her family and develops a rivalry with cult member, Aguilera.[6][22] In pursuit of joining her brothers in combat, Sakura receives her own Rider equipment from a mysterious individual, later revealed to be an agent from the secret organization, Weekend.[54]

Sakura utilizes the Cobra (コブラ, Kobura) Vistamp in conjunction with the Libera Driver (リベラドライバー, Ribera Doraibā) to transform into Kamen Rider Jeanne (仮面ライダージャンヌ, Kamen Raidā Jan'nu).[55][56][57] While transformed, she can utilize Shōwa and Heisei Kamen Rider-themed Vistamps to transform Lovekov into different weapon-based Genome forms.

Sakura Igarashi is portrayed by Ayaka Imoto (井本 彩花, Imoto Ayaka).[40][42] As a child, Sakura is portrayed by Ayu Fukumoto (福元 愛悠, Fukumoto Ayu).

Lovekov

Lovekov (ラブコフ, Rabukofu) is Sakura's benevolent plush toy mascot-like inner demon and partner. As a manifestation of the latter's weaknesses and childhood past-self, the former lacks her partner's combat capabilities but can be transformed into weapons for Sakura to use. While normally non-combative compared to Vice and Kagero, Lovekov can lash out at humans while being influenced by Giff's aura.[56][44]

Lovekov is voiced by Miku Itō (伊藤 美来, Itō Miku), who also portrays a fictionalized version of herself in episode 31.[46][63]

Yukimi Igarashi

Yukimi Igarashi (五十嵐 幸実, Igarashi Yukimi) is Genta's wife and Ikki, Daiji and Sakura's mother. Following Deadmans' first attack during Daiji's promotion ceremony, Yukimi is left temporarily hospitalized.[64][1][42][6] It is later revealed that Yukimi was involved in early Deadmen-related incidents surrounding her husband's tragic life 25 years ago. Seven years later, when Vail attacked the first Shiawaseyu before he was separated from Genta, though at the cost of the latter's memories, Yukimi and her husband's friend, Shōzō Irabu, secretly kept in touch while ensuring her children never learned of the incident.[44][49][37]

After choosing to start a family and receiving help from Masumi in leaving Noah, Genta is forced to have Vail extracted from him after the demon makes a failed attempt on his family's lives. As a result, Genta lost his memories as Shiranami, but became able to survive without a heart in his body as long as it is preserved within Giff's casket.[51][54][35][66] After Vail breaks free of the Demons Driver and re-possesses Genta, he regains his memories and heart, but is forced back into a struggle to suppress Vail, and goes into hiding alongside Shōzō Irabu in a Weekend facility to protect his family.[44][37]

Genta utilizes the Kabuto (カブト) Vistamp in conjunction with the Vail Driver (ベイルドライバー, Beiru Doraibā) to transform into Kamen Rider Vail (仮面ライダーベイル, Kamen Raidā Beiru).[44][67]

Years prior to the series, Vail came into being after Genta was infused with Giff's cells and murdered his parents before Vail was later extracted from Genta's body and contained in the Demons Driver when he tried to kill his host's family. After being awakened by Giff in the present, Vail manipulates the Demons Driver's users to facilitate his escape in order to re-possess Genta before eventually regaining his original form and join forces with Hideo Akaishi.[68][54][35][44][49][43]

Vail is voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda (津田 健次郎, Tsuda Kenjirō).

Fenix

Special Government Agency Fenix (政府特別機関フェニックス, Seifu Tokubetsu Kikan Fenikkusu) is a government organization based in the Fenix Sky Base (フェニックス・スカイベース, Fenikkusu Sukai Bēsu) established to counter the Deadmans' threat.[64][1][42]

Yūjirō Wakabayashi

Yūjirō Wakabayashi (若林 優次郎, Wakabayashi Yūjirō) is a stern commander who secretly cares for his subordinates.[1][69] During Ikki and Vice's first transformation into Kamen Rider Revice, Wakabayashi was murdered by the Chameleon Deadman, who later assumes his identity.[70]

Yūjirō Wakabayashi is portrayed by Kazuya Tanabe (田邊 和也, Tanabe Kazuya).[69]

Hideo Akaishi

Hideo Akaishi (赤石 英雄, Akaishi Hideo) is the director-general of Fenix, founder of Deadmans, and a former Noah researcher and member of the US government's Department of Defense.[31][71] Years prior to the series, he and his superior at Noah, Agariyama worked with Vail to murder Genta's parents and use him in the organization's experiments. As part of his agenda to use Giff to evolve humanity, he injected himself with some of Giff's cells to slow his body's aging process, which transformed his right hand and forced him to wear gloves to hide it, and granted permission for the Demons Driver's field deployment to eventually free Vail.[39][72][43][73]

The Demon-Worshipping Organization Deadmans (悪魔崇拝組織デッドマンズ, Akuma Sūhai Soshiki Deddomanzu) is a demon cult and splinter faction of the military organization, Noah, founded by Hideo Akaishi that has been active for fifty years and seek to revive the progenitor of all demons, Giff, by gathering six Gifftex (ギフテクス, Gifutekusu), or Phase 3 (フェーズ3, Fēzu Surī), Deadmen for a ritual sacrifice.[76] To do so, they provide people with Vistamps to form a contract with their inner demon, manifest the latter as a Phase 1 Deadman, merge with it to achieve its Phase 2 form and fully integrate with it to achieve its Phase 3 form. Compared to the other phases, humans that become Gifftex Deadmen run the risk of being killed if they are defeated in combat,[1][11] [59] though they can be separated by Kamen Rider Revice's Barid and Volcano Rex Genome's powers.[45] However, if a Deadmans member who was originally chosen to become a sacrifice for Giff's revival but became a Phase 3 Deadman instead, they are deemed incompatible as a sacrifice.[72] Additionally, Deadmans members can also use Giff Junior Vistamp on the weakest of their followers to create Giff Junior (ギフジュニア, Gifu Junia) foot soldiers to aid them in battle.[1] The Deadmans was initially based in the Deadmans Base (デッドマンズベース, Deddomanzu Bēsu), a repurposed airship with a nightclub-like interior, before it was destroyed by Fenix.[59]

Giff

Giff (ギフ, Gifu) is the mysterious progenitor of all demons who is sealed within a sarcophagus that was discovered by Noah fifty years prior to the series before it ended up in the possession of a splinter faction called Deadmans, who seek to revive Giff via a ritual involving six Gifftex (ギフテクス, Gifutekusu) Deadmen and a designated sacrifice.[77] While the Igarashi siblings disrupt the ritual and Fenix recovers the sarcophagus in the present, Giff absorbs the remains of the Deadmen and Gifftarians that the Igarashi siblings defeat over the course of their battles against Deadmans. After absorbing Deadmans' leader Orteca, who previously sacrificed humans to the demon, Giff revives and assumes a humanoid form.[37]

Upon exposure to the stamp, a human host will become enveloped in a chrysalis, which their inner demon devours to create a physical body for itself while the host is destroyed in the process.[31]

Later in the series, a revived Giff uses the Giff Stamp to spawn Gifftarians (True) (ギフテリアン(TRUE), Gifuterian (Turū)), pure versions of the Gifftarians which possess the Faregudard (フェアグダード, Feagudādo) arm blades and power on par with Phase 3 Deadmen.[39]

Deadman combatants

Through the use of Vistamps and/or Proto Vistamps (プロトバイスタンプ, Puroto Baisutanpu), Deadmans materialize their human victims' inner demon to bring about their origami-themed monstrous namesakes, or Deadman (デッドマン, Deddoman), the renegade byproducts of Noah's attempts at replicating Giff's powers for combat purposes. When a Deadman is defeated, their corresponding Proto Vistamp becomes purified and either becomes part of a Kamen Rider's arsenal or transferred to Fenix's custody.[40][1] Through the making of a higher-class contract, a Vistamp user can merge with their Deadman to assume a Phase 2 (フェーズ2, Fēzu Tsū) form at the cost of their humanity and gradually transform into a Gifftex Deadman.[11][70] If a Proto Vistamp is used on multiple hosts, the resulting Deadmen can merge into a Super Deadman (スーパーデッドマン, Sūpā Deddoman).[22] Additionally, contract holders can use Proto Vistamps to create duplicates, use them on others, and continue to create duplicate Vistamps by summoning its corresponding Deadman.[56]

Masumi Karizaki

Masumi Karizaki (狩崎 真澄, Karizaki Masumi) is the masked leader of Weekend, George Karizaki's father, and a former member of Noah who found the Giff Stamp and reverse-engineered Vistamp technology from it. After inadvertently giving rise to Vail, who terrorized the Igarashi family 18 years prior to the series, and learning his fellow members Agariyama and Hideo Akaishi formed separate plots to use his Vistamps for their own gain instead of using them for world peace like Masumi wanted, he faked his death and founded Weekend to watch over the Igarashis and atone for his role in Vail's creation.[53][35][44][49][66][72]

Kamen Rider Demons

Kamen Rider Demons (仮面ライダーデモンズ, Kamen Raidā Demonzu) is a moniker used by those who utilize the Spider (スパイダー, Supaidā) Vistamp in conjunction with the Demons Driver (デモンズドライバー, Demonzu Doraibā) transformation belt,[95] which contains Vail. Due to prolonged usage of the belt, Vail is eventually able to break free, though he maintains his connection to the Demons Driver.[68][54][35][44][49]

While transformed, the user can produce Demon String (デモンストリング, Demon Sutoringu) for multiple purposes and stick to walls and ceilings. Using Shōwa Kamen Rider-themed Vistamps, they can assume varying Genomix (ゲノミクス, Genomikusu) modes, which change and enhance part of their body. With incompatible users, the demon will only transform for short periods of time, limit them to one Genomix, and feed on their life force, which physically ages them at an accelerated rate as a side effect and causes them to develop an addiction to the Demons Driver's power.[56][45][68][54][72] With compatible users, they do not suffer side effects and are able to use multiple Genomixes depending on Vail's mood.[54][35][49]

When he reveals the truth however, she transforms herself into a Deadman and leaves the cult, forcing Orteca to alter his plans and restructure Deadmans.[40][64][1][52][70][59][51] Despite being defeated and separated from his Deadman form by Kamen Rider Revice and Giff subsequently absorbing his Deadman essence, Orteca allows himself to be captured by Fenix so he can trade the Giff Stamp to Akaishi for the Demons Driver, escaping as the new Demons.[82][54] While Vail exploits Orteca to break free from the Demons Driver, he allows Orteca to continue using his power until they are defeated by Kamen Rider Holy Live, after which Orteca abandons Vail and retrieves the Anomalocaris Proto Vistamp while committing human sacrifices to hasten Giff's revival until he is defeated by Kamen Rider Revice and devoured by Giff.[35][49][94][37]

George is a fan of Kamen Riders, especially the Heisei era Riders, and designs Fenix's Rider equipment with them as inspiration.[91][1] After Daiji defeats Orteca and Vail and causes them to abandon the Demons Driver, George retrieves the belt and uses it to become the third Kamen Rider Demons in emergency situations, resisting the belt's temptation in the process.[94][37][72]

In the film Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations, an elderly George goes into hiding after demons conquer the Earth and creates the Cyclotron Driver. After escaping, she transforms into a Phase 3 Deadman and feigns returning to Deadmans so she can learn Orteca's true motives.[51][35] She also intends to willingly sacrifice herself to revive Giff, only to discover she inadvertently made herself incompatible due to being a Phase 3 Deadman. Following Orteca's death, Giff's revival, and the latter showing his true colors, a disillusioned Aguilera goes into a self-imposed exile.[37][72] Eventually, Kamen Rider Jeanne separates Aguilera from her Deadman form, restoring her humanity in the process. Afterwards, Aguilera joins Weekend.[61]

Julio (フリオ, Furio), real name Gō Tamaki (玉置 豪, Tamaki Gō),[31] is Aguilera's loyal bodyguard and a former trading card otaku who joined Deadmans after discovering his best friend, Yōsuke Okuda (奥田 陽介, Okuda Yōsuke) was extorted by delinquents into betraying their friendship during the end of their high school years.[64][1][101][52][31][45] Despite becoming a Gifftex Deadman, Julio was not aware of Giff's intention to use Aguilera as a sacrifice instead of his bride and betrays Deadmans to protect her.[70][59] Julio eventually forgives Okuda, only to transform into a Deadman Riot after Orteca sacrificed his friend to create a Gifftarian. However, Kamen Rider Revice separate Julio from his Deadman form, which is absorbed by Giff, and restores Julio's humanity in the process.[45] Following this, he gains a job at Shiawaseyu.[35]
