Season chronology |
Big Brother Canada 10 is the tenth season of the Canadian reality television series Big Brother Canada. It is based on the Dutch series of the same name, which gained notoriety in 1999 and 2000. Arisa Cox returned as the host and executive producer for the series. The season premiered on March 2, 2022, on Global.[1]
This season revolves around 16 strangers (known as HouseGuests) living in a house together while being constantly filmed and having no communication with the outside world as they compete to be the last HouseGuest remaining. Each week, the HouseGuests compete in challenges for power and safety before voting each other out of the house. When only two HouseGuests remain, a Jury of previously evicted Houseguests will decide which finalist wins the grand prize of $100,000 and other sponsored prizes.
Production
Development
On July 6, 2021, Big Brother Canada was renewed for a tenth season.[2] The season premiered on March 2, 2022, on Global. Expedia, Wendy's and Muskoka Spirits returned to sponsor the season. Additionally, the show has three new sponsors: Winners, Belairdirect insurance and Philips Sonicare Oral Care.[3]
Cast
Kassting Inc. returned to cast the tenth season. The submission of applications were opened on July 14, 2021, and were closed on November 19, 2021. Due to restrictions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, no in-person casting calls were held.[4] The final cast was revealed on February 23, 2022.[5]
Prizes
The sixteen HouseGuests are competing for a grand prize of $100,000, as displayed in the 32x60 feet LED screen in the backyard.[6] The runner-up will receive $20,000 in cash. Occasionally, the nominee who survives eviction will have the chance to win a prize of $500, $2,500 or $5,000 by a game of chance following the that week's eviction.[7]
House design
On February 22, 2022, Global released images of the new kitchen, dining area and an unknown room, with a mystery phone. More images of the house were released on March 1, 2022, with a full house tour being released the following day.[8][9]
In the house tour, it was revealed this season's house was built to simulate the theme of game shows and to give way for twists and tasks as seen in the numerous mystery doors that line the house. According to host Arisa Cox, it took 22,000 man hours to design and assemble the season's house.[6]
The lounge area features a wheel used to select players for the PoV competition, with the archway to the backyard displaying an eye with a dollar symbol ($) on its pupil. The house's pantry features a showcase of several items called the "Sloppers Showcase", which was used as the subject for the Week 4 HoH competition. The pantry also houses a Wendy's delivery window, in which the HoH receives advice from past winners, along with their a for themselves, and a HouseGuest of their choice. The HoH room features designs inspired by the trends of the 70s with the two regular bedrooms being decorated with dollar symbols and question marks (?).[6]
International broadcast
Once again, Big Brother Canada was made available to stream in Australia on 7Plus. The first 8 episodes were made available on 31 March, with further episodes airing weekly.[10]
HouseGuests
The HouseGuests' images and profiles were released on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.[5] Prior to the full reveal, the images of the HouseGuests were revealed in a series of adverts for the season. The HouseGuests moved into the house on February 26, more than a week before the premiere.

Twists
Phone Room
Room 5 features a gold phone that rang occasionally throughout the season.
- On Day 1, Jay answered the phone received immunity.
- On Day 26, the number to the phone was "leaked" and was subject to calls that would challenge the HouseGuests to complete various tasks. As a reward for answering the calls, the HouseGuests received a stocked pantry and the Household was relieved of their slop punishment.
- On Day 44, Jacey-Lynne found a clue to call a number through the phone, leading her on a hunt throughout the House, and ultimately finding a Secret Power of Veto.
Surviving Nominee Prize
On occasion, the nominee who survives eviction will be given a set of doors to choose from. Each door contains a cash prize of different amounts.[7] The prize won by the HouseGuest is denoted by the color green. ( )
Week | Surviving Nominee | Possible Prizes |
---|---|---|
1 | Kevin | $500 |
$2500 | ||
$5000 |
Belairdirect Eviction Protection Insurance
Occasionally throughout the season, Immunity would be awarded to HouseGuest by various means. This immunity was sponsored by BelAirDirect
- On Day 1, in the Final Round of the First HoH comp, 2 of the 3 doors would award the door's holder immunity (the third had the HoH title). Moose and Josh each won immunity for the week.
- On Day 13, it was announced that the viewers would be voting to decide which HouseGuest would receive immunity from nominations for Week 3. The voter may vote for multiple HouseGuests with no vote limits being imposed. Marty received the most votes and received the immunity.
- On Day 48, it was announced that the viewers would be voting to decide which HouseGuest would receive immunity from nominations for Week 8. The voter may vote for multiple HouseGuests with no vote limits being imposed. As a result of winning the last Belairdirect Eviction Protection Insurance, Marty was ineligible to be voted for the immunity. Summer received the most votes and was made immune.
Eviction Twists
Chain of Safety Double Eviction
Week 5 featured a Double Eviction, in which two HouseGuests were evicted on the same night. Unlike a traditional Double Eviction (in which the regular game format is played over the course of the night), the second eviction was determined by a "Chain of Safety" selection process. Beginning with Moose, who won that night's first challenge, each HouseGuest would select another HouseGuest to save until three are left unselected, who would then compete for safety in a second challenge to determine that night's second set of nominees.
Triple Eviction
Week 8 will feature the first Triple Eviction since Season 6. Following that week's first eviction, a Head of Household competition will be held, in which the winner will get to nominate three HouseGuests for eviction. Following the nominations, a regular Power of Veto competition and ceremony will be held. The cycle ends with an additional two HouseGuests being evicted following an eviction vote where HouseGuests will vote to save a nominee, rather than to evict, and the nominee with the most votes being the sole nominee saved for that cycle.
Summary
Days 1 - 34 (Pre-Jury Phase)
On Day 1, 16 new HouseGuests entered the game show themed "Big Brother Canada" House. As the first four to enter the House, Gino, Jacey-Lynne, Josh, and Summer formed the "Honey Bunch" alliance. Kevin and Haleena also formed "The Ghosts" Final Two deal. Soon after entry, the phone behind Door 5 rang, which Jay answered. They were told by Big Brother that for answering the phone, they became safe for the week and would be ineligible to compete for Head of Household. The HouseGuests then competed in the Doors of Destiny Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests drew chips to determine which of the three challenges they would compete in: puzzle, skill, or trivia. The winner of each game would move onto the prize round and learn what is behind each door. In the puzzle round, Gino, Hermon, Jacey-Lynne, Summer, and Tynesha raced to build their door puzzle. The first HouseGuest to complete their puzzle and step through the door would move on to the prize round. Hermon was the winner. In the trivia round, Betty, Kevin, Marty, Moose, and Stephanie answered a series of true or false questions about the House. The first person to answer correctly could eliminate any person of their choice. If they were incorrect, they were eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing would move on to the prize round. Moose was the winner. For the skill round, Haleena, Jess, Josh, Kyle, and Melina raced to toss five beanbags on their spinning target platform. The first HouseGuest to land a beanbag on each of the five targets would move on to the prize round. Josh was the winner. Hermon, Moose, and Josh were then presented with three mystery doors, picking one door each. Behind two of the doors were safety for the week, while the other door held the Head of Household. Josh and Moose earned safety for the week, and Hermon became the first Head of Household of the season. Hermon began to see Jess as a threat after a private conversation, seeing them as very smart and dangerous down the line. On Day 2, Hermon nominated Jess and Melina for eviction, with Jess as his target. On Day 3, Jess and Melina, alongside Gino, Haleena, and Jay, popped in the Power Popper 2.0 Power of Veto competition, in honor of Season 1's first Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must pop a series of balloons in search of green balls. However, they can only pop balloons using the spiked belts around their waist. Once they retrieve ten green balls, they must solve their puzzle. The first HouseGuest to correctly solve their puzzle will win the Power of Veto. Jess was the winner. On Day 4, Jess used the Power of Veto on themselves, and Hermon named Kevin as the replacement nominee. On Day 6, Melina was evicted by a 11-2 vote, with Jay and Jess voting to evict Kevin. Arisa then dropped another twist on the HouseGuests. Throughout the season, and during certain weeks, the surviving nominee will earn the opportunity to open a mystery door in the House. As the surviving nominee, Kevin had the choice of opening Door 14, Door 3, or Door 19. One contained $500, another contained $2,500, and the last one contained $5,000. Kevin opened Door 19 and earned $500.
Following Melina's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the Surf's Up Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must teeter on back and forth to keep their watermelon ball on their surfboard. If their ball falls, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household. Marty was the winner. Gino, Hermon, Josh, Kyle, Moose, Summer, and Tynesha formed the "Savage 7" alliance. Summer, Betty, Tynesha, and Haleena also formed the “Mandems” alliance. In spite of Jess being a common target of many HouseGuests, Marty decided to keep them around. On Day 7, Marty nominated Jacey-Lynne and Jay for eviction, with Jay as the target. On Day 8, Jacey-Lynne and Jay, as well as Haleena, Josh, and Betty, stacked in the Master Baker Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must build one layer of their cake, ensuring all five columns are of equal height. They must then slide their cake across the assembly line and build their next layer. If their cake falls at any time, they must start over. The first HouseGuest to successfully build their cake and hit their buzzer will win the Power of Veto. Jacey-Lynne was the winner. On Day 10, Jacey-Lynne used the Power of Veto on herself, and Marty named Betty as the replacement nominee. On Day 13, Jay was evicted by a 10-2 vote, with Hermon and Kyle voting to evict Betty.
Following Jay's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the Tough Sledding Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests will take a running start and jump onto their sled, sliding down the lane. The further they travel down the lane, the higher their score. If a HouseGuest falls off the end of the track, they will receive a score of zero. The HouseGuest with the highest score will be the new Head of Household. Kyle was the winner. Due to his alliances, clear targets for Kyle were Jess and Betty, but each of them convinced Kyle not to target them. After learning of this, Summer convinced Kyle that Stephanie would be the best option to be evicted outside of Jess and Betty. Recently, Moose had been trying to play people against each other and many players had grown suspicious of him. Despite Gino, Hermon, Jacey-Lynne, Kyle, and Stephanie being in "The Retreat" alliance, Moose told Kyle that Stephanie could not be trusted. When Kyle told Stephanie, Stephanie accused Moose of playing the middle, and Moose lied to cover up the fact that he and Kyle had been working together. Due to this, Kyle lost trust with Moose and wanted to betray their "Savage 7" alliance. Kyle also floated targeting Hermon due to his own paranoia about the Savage 7 alliance. During the chaos, Moose suggested nominating members of the Savage 7 to Kyle, and Kyle told the rest of the Savage 7. The HouseGuests learned Canada voted for one HouseGuest to receive the "BelAir Direct" Eviction Insurance, giving them safety for the week. Marty was the recipient of the insurance and earned safety for the week. On Day 14, Kyle nominated Moose and Stephanie for eviction, with Moose as the target. On Day 15, Moose and Stephanie, joined by Gino, Josh, and Betty, buzzed in the Bees Knees 2.0 Power of Veto competition, in honor of the Season 1 competition of the same name. In this competition, HouseGuests must complete their honeycomb puzzle. After solving their puzzle, they must untie, dig, and use their stinger to find six red pollen balls. They must maneuver their red balls, and one gold ball, down their honeycomb into their proper spots. The first HouseGuest to land all seven of their balls will win the Power of Veto. Moose was the winner. On Day 17, Moose took himself off the block, and Kyle named Josh as the replacement nominee, wanting to make a big move. Despite Josh being the target, many HouseGuests considered going against Kyle's wishes for his indecisiveness and nominating multiple alliance members. Most HouseGuests also felt a bond with Josh and lacked a similar connection with Stephanie. Kevin convinced Marty of the lie that Kyle was considering targeting Marty and that was why Canada gave Marty safety. This caused Marty to turn on Kyle, despite formerly being a close ally of Kyle while most of Kyle’s other allies had turned on him. On Day 20, Stephanie was blindsided in a 9-2 vote, with Gino and Jacey-Lynne voting to evict Josh.
Following Stephanie's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the Shopper's Showcase Head of Household competition. HouseGuests were asked a series of questions regarding the prices of the items displayed in the Shopper's Showcase located in the pantry. They must determine whether the actual price of an item is higher or lower than the price given by Arisa. If a HouseGuest answers incorrectly, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household. Gino was the winner. Gino felt that Marty had betrayed him in the vote and considered targeting Marty and nominating Jess or Tynesha as a pawn. Haleena noticed Hermon was playing a strong game and was a threat to win. Over the course of the week, Haleena gave information, some of which was false, to Jess, Kevin, Betty, Marty, Summer, Gino, and Jacey-Lynne in an effort to convince them to turn on Hermon. These efforts were generally successful. On Day 21, Gino nominated Jess and Marty for eviction. On Day 22, Jess and Marty, with Haleena, Summer, and Tynesha, stacked in the Santa's Workshop Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must collect the presents rolling down the conveyor belt and use their body to press them against the wall. As the competition continues, their stack will get longer and more difficult to hold. In addition, decisions and temptations, such as a letter from home, milk and cookies, and different sized boxes, will come down the belt. HouseGuests can choose to add what they want to their stack. If a HouseGuest drops a box, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will win the Power of Veto. Marty was the winner. Despite being his closest ally, Gino debated either betraying Kyle to appease the rest of the HouseGuests and show that he was not tied to Kyle, or nominating Betty as the new target. Summer pushed for Kyle to be nominated and evicted, despite the move not being good for Gino. On Day 24, Marty used the Power of Veto on himself, and Gino named Kyle as the replacement nominee. On Day 27, Kyle was evicted by an unanimous vote.
Following Kyle's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the Legends of the Doors Head of Household competition. In this competition, certain doors in the House were unlocked. HouseGuests were given four minutes to find the unlocked doors, including past seasons' iconic players, and study what was behind them. They will then be asked a series of questions about what they saw. Each correct answer gave them one point. The HouseGuest with the most points will be the new Head of Household. Jess was the winner. On Day 28, Jess nominated Hermon and Moose for eviction, believing that those two had been the cause of Jess’s trouble establishing themselves in the game. Jess, Betty, Summer, and Tynesha formed "The Siblings" alliance. On Day 29, Jacey-Lynne, Josh, and Marty were picked for the Thrill of the Find Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must search the racks and shelves to find three "Winners" clothing items with their name and wear them. They must then find the nine items that match the price from their display, and use their pole to place them atop their pedestals. The first HouseGuest to correctly place all of their items will win the Power of Veto, as well as $5,000 from "Winners". Hermon was the winner. On Day 31, Hermon used the Power of Veto on himself, and Jess nominated Tynesha as a pawn. Despite being the pawn, some HouseGuests wanted to evict Tynesha due to her lack of campaigning. While Moose had been lying extremely low ever since his strategy was exposed during Kyle’s HoH reign, Tynesha had built multiple alliances. As a result, many HouseGuests felt Tynesha was a strong social player and would end up being a bigger threat than Moose. Tynesha was also viewed as the person holding together a large group of HouseGuests that consisted of Betty, Summer, herself, Moose, and Hermon. Jacey-Lynne and Marty pushed for Jess to change the target from Moose to Tynesha, which they did. Haleena considered betraying the Siblings and Mandems for feeling left out of the loop, and Kevin worked to convince Gino and Jacey-Lynne to join the flip effort as revenge for Stephanie's eviction. Kevin, Haleena, and Josh, wanting to ride the middle of the house and play the others against each other, formed the “Crash Test Dummies” alliance. On Day 34, Tynesha was evicted in a 5-4 vote, with Betty, Hermon, Josh, and Summer voting to evict Moose.
The HouseGuests were then informed of the Chain of Safety Double Eviction. The HouseGuests would compete in two Safety competitions. The winner of the first would be safe, and select another HouseGuest to be safe for the night. Their selection would then save the next person, until three HouseGuests remained, nominating them for eviction. The three nominees would compete in the second competition, with the winner removing themselves from the block, and the other two facing the eviction vote. Immediately, the HouseGuests bowled in the Warped Bowling Safety competition. In this competition, each HouseGuest will roll the bowling ball down the lane, around the obstacles, and into the scoring slots. The HouseGuest with the highest score will be safe for the night and begin the chain. Moose was the winner. After the safety chain, Gino, Jacey-Lynne, and Jess were nominated for eviction. The three nominees then competed in the Under Pressure Safety competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must search through a pile of white balls to find a series of colored ones. They must then sort the colored balls into their respective tubes. If they put a ball in the wrong tube, they must start over. The first HouseGuest to correctly fill the tubes and hit their buzzer will win and remove themselves from the block. Jacey-Lynne was the winner, leaving Gino and Jess to face the eviction vote. Betty, Josh, Marty, Kevin, and Haleena decided as a group to flip and vote out Gino, noting that Gino staying would only be good for Hermon and Moose, who were becoming a duo. However, while observing Marty’s demeanor immediately leading up to the vote, Betty thought that Marty had decided last-minute not to flip. Worried they would lack the votes, Betty tried to keep the group from flipping, but was only able to tell Kevin and Josh, leaving Haleena and Marty on the opposite side of the vote. On Day 34, Jess was evicted by a 7-2 vote, with Haleena and Marty voting to evict Gino.
Days 34 - present (Jury Phase)
Following Jess's eviction, the Jury Phase started, meaning all HouseGuests that will be evicted from this point onward would be part of the season's jury and will vote to decide the winner on the season finale. The HouseGuests then competed in the Red Light, Green Light Head of Household competition. In each round of the competition, HouseGuests must race to toss their hoop around the pole. However, they are only allowed to toss their hoop while the light is green. The last HouseGuest to land their hoop in each round, or if a HouseGuest tosses their hoop while the light is red, will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household. Marty was the winner. Marty falsely felt as though Betty and Josh had intentionally tricked him into voting to evict Gino during the Double Eviction. Paranoid about Betty potentially having a secret power from the Phone Room, he decided to simply nominate Betty and Josh rather than trying to backdoor Josh. On Day 35, Marty nominated Betty and Josh for eviction. On Day 36, Betty and Josh, accompanied by Gino, Kevin, and Summer, partied in the Party Casino Power of Veto competition. In each round of this competition, a party game will be described to the HouseGuests. Players must then vote for who they want to play the game. The HouseGuest with the most votes would then choose their opponent for a head-to-head party game, including skeeball, solving a block puzzle on a tipping platform, placing balls on a balance beam, and a 3D word search. The winner of each game will advance and eliminate their opponent. The last HouseGuest standing will win the Power of Veto. Kevin was the winner. Haleena and Kevin pushed for Marty to backdoor Hermon, saying he was a much bigger threat than Josh or Betty. On Day 38, Kevin used the Power of Veto on Josh, and Marty named Hermon as the replacement nominee. Just before the vote, Arisa told the HouseGuests that Canada voted for their favorite moment of the season so far, and the HouseGuest that Canada voted for would receive $1000 from "Winners". Canada voted for Moose. On Day 41, Hermon was evicted by a 7-0 vote, becoming the first member of the jury.
Following Hermon's eviction, the HouseGuests stuck it out in the Buzzkilled 3.0 Head of Household competition, in honor of the Season 5 and Season 7 competition of the same name. In this competition, HouseGuests must wait for the buzzer to sound. Once it does, they must hit their button. Throughout the competition, Big Brother will make them offers to lure them away from their button. The last HouseGuest to ring in each round will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household. However, the competition was cancelled after a number of buzzer malfunctions. The HouseGuests then recollected in the Before or After Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests had to determine if one event took place before or after another event in the House. Each correct answer earned them one point. In addition, during the third question, HouseGuests could forfeit the point to search for one of five "Have" cards inside the House. Shall they acquire a "Have" card, they must respond to the question with the said card rather than the cards used to answer the question, thus being unable to answer the question. Acquiring a "Have" card would guarantee its holder "Have" status for the week. The HouseGuest with the most points after nine questions will be the new Head of Household. Gino earned the most votes and was crowned was the winner. For not claiming the Have cards, Betty, Haleena, Josh, Kevin, and Moose were named the Have-Nots for the week. Gino looked to backdoor Marty as revenge for betraying him during Kyle's reign and voting to evict him during the Double Eviction. On Day 42, Gino nominated Moose and Summer for eviction, with the plan to backdoor Marty. On Day 43, Moose and Summer, beside Haleena, Jacey-Lynne, and Josh, blasted in the Sink Your Teeth Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must fill their blaster with water, walk across their balance beam, and shoot the gunk off of their teeth. Once they get all of the gunk off their teeth, they must solve their floating tooth puzzle. The first HouseGuest to solve their puzzle will win the Power of Veto. Haleena was the winner. On Day 44, Jacey-Lynne found a clue to discover a secret room. After using the phone in the House and finding keys behind various doors, she discovered a secret Expedia room. Arisa then gave her a challenge to win a secret power. She had five minutes to unlock the boxes containing puzzle pieces and complete the puzzle. Jacey-Lynne accomplished her mission, and she earned a Secret Power of Veto. She had the power to remove one of the nominees at the Veto Meeting, even after the normal Veto was used, forcing the Head of Household to name another replacement nominee. Her power was valid for this week's Veto Meeting only. If she revealed her secret prematurely, she would be immediately evicted.[11] Despite Gino originally wanting to backdoor Marty, Haleena felt Marty was still useful for her game and told Gino she did not want to betray the Final Five deal of Haleena, Marty, Gino, Jacey-Lynne, and Kevin. She pushed for the backdoor plan to be abandoned, saying that Marty could be used as a shield and was not targeting them. Afterwards, Gino and Jacey-Lynne decided to keep Marty in the game. On Day 45, Haleena decided not to use the Power of Veto; Jacey-Lynne also decided not to use her Secret Power of Veto. On Day 48, Moose was evicted by a 6-0 vote, becoming the second member of the jury.[12]
Following Moose's eviction, the HouseGuests climbed in the Mount HOH Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must use their pegs and brace themselves against the sides of their chutes. Throughout the competition, they will encounter hazards to make it more difficult. If a HouseGuest falls, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household. Marty was the winner. The HouseGuests learned that, once again, Canada voted for one HouseGuest to receive the "BelAir Direct" Eviction Insurance, giving them safety for the week. Summer was the recipient of the insurance and earned safety for the week. On Day 49, Marty nominated Betty and Josh for eviction. On Day 50, Betty and Josh, together with Kevin, Summer, and Gino, played in the 100 More Minutes of Hell Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must lie in their coffin and hit their button when they believe 100 minutes have passed. In addition, they will be dealt various distractions, such as filling the coffin with water, fake blood and guts, worms, and shoutouts from their families, to distract them. The HouseGuest who hits their button closest to 100 minutes will win the Power of Veto. Betty was the winner. On Day 51, Kevin was given a secret mission to find which of the mystery doors was unlocked to reveal a secret room. He discovered the secret Expedia room and found Marsha the Moose. Marsha then gave him a secret mission; he must convince the others he will self-evict. He passed his mission, and the HouseGuests earned a sleepover party. As Summer was safe, Marty had to nominate someone from his Final Five deal. After having them swear to evict Josh, he had Haleena, Jacey-Lynne, and Kevin draw gummy bears to determine the replacement nominee. Marty did not want to nominate Gino due to having previously betrayed him, but allowed Gino to opt into this decision if he wanted. Gino chose to be in consideration for the replacement nominee, and when the four drew their gummy bears, Gino drew the one corresponding to nomination. On Day 52, Betty took herself off the block, and Marty named Gino as the replacement nominee. Kevin and Haleena decided to flip on the Five, joining Betty and Summer in saving Josh, their Crash Test Dummies alliance member. On Day 55, Gino was blindsided in a 4-1 vote, with Jacey-Lynne voting to evict Josh. He became the third member of the jury. Arisa then informed the HouseGuests of the Triple Eviction. The HouseGuests then contended in The Challenge Time Machine Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests were asked a series of questions regarding past competitions. Each correct answer earned them one point. The HouseGuest with the most points after seven questions will be the new Head of Household. Josh was the winner. He immediately nominated Jacey-Lynne, Marty, and Summer for eviction. Jacey-Lynne became angry with Haleena for telling Jacey she was Haleena’s closest ally and then betraying her to evict Gino. Jacey-Lynne, Marty, and Summer, as well as Haleena and Kevin, tilted in the Complete the Clock Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must insert a ball into their clock and use their body weight to shift the balls into the empty slots of their clock. The first HouseGuest to land all their balls and hit their button will win the Power of Veto. Jacey-Lynne was the winner. Due to his Crash Test Dummies alliance with Kevin and Haleena, Josh told Betty she would be nominated, severing their trust. At the Veto Meeting, Jacey-Lynne took herself off the block, and Josh named Betty as the replacement nominee. On Day 55, Betty was saved by a 3-0-0 vote, evicting Marty and Summer. They became the fourth and fifth members of the jury.
Following Marty and Summer's eviction, the HouseGuests shredded in the Shred That Letter Head of Household competition, hosted by Season 2 and Season 5 HouseGuest Ika Wong. In this competition, Ika read a quote from various speeches throughout the season. HouseGuests must identify who said each quote. Each correct answer earned them one point. The HouseGuest with the most points after six questions will be the new Head of Household. Betty was the winner. Betty felt that she could not trust Jacey-Lynne because she withheld the information of her winning the Secret Power of Veto from Betty. She also felt betrayed by Josh for nominating her during the Triple Eviction. Because of these reasons, on Day 56, Betty nominated Jacey-Lynne and Josh for eviction. Afterwards, Betty realized Kevin had been pulling strings behind the scenes and manipulating people throughout the game. She rebuilt her bond with Josh and informed him of how his ally Kevin had been manipulating him. On Day 57, the HouseGuests dreamed in the Dream Vacations Power of Veto competition, sponsored by "Expedia". The competition took place in the Expedia room. In this competition, HouseGuests watched a video of the HouseGuests describing their dream vacation. They will enter the room with five unique vacation destinations. HouseGuests must identify which destination corresponds with each HouseGuest. However, they will be blindfolded and must rely on their sense of touch to identify each destination. Once they match each HouseGuest with their destination, they can remove their blindfold, search the scenes for puzzle pieces, and complete their puzzle. The HouseGuest who matches the destinations and completes their puzzle in the fastest time will win the Power of Veto, as well as a secret strategy session with Season 5 Winner Kevin Martin. Haleena was the winner. On Day 59, Haleena decided not to use the Power of Veto. On Day 61, each of the HouseGuests got to spend time with their loved ones in the Phone Room for five minutes. With much indecisiveness, Haleena and Kevin debated whether to stay loyal to their Crash Test Dummies alliance with Josh or to blindside him and keep Jacey-Lynne. On Day 62, Jacey-Lynne was evicted by a 2-0 vote, becoming the sixth member of the jury.
Following Jacey-Lynne's eviction, the red countdown door went off. Inside, the HouseGuests were surprised with a Wendy's breakfast, as well as a practice station for the upcoming Head of Household competition. The HouseGuests then sought a spot in the Final Three in the Scrambled Days Head of Household competition, held in the same room. In this competition, HouseGuests were asked a series of questions regarding events of the season. They must maneuver their egg down their station and around the breakfast obstacles into a numbered slot corresponding to the day each event took place. The HouseGuest who answers the closest in each round will earn one point. The HouseGuest with the most points after seven questions will be the new Head of Household. Josh was the winner. The HouseGuests got dressed up for the "Big Brother Canada Awards". The HouseGuests then got the opportunity to watch iconic moments from the season. On Day 63, Josh nominated Betty and Kevin for eviction.
Have-Nots
Occasionally, unlike in previous seasons, a group of HouseGuests are selected to be Have-Nots for a certain week. Those selected to be a Have-Not would be restricted to a slop diet and cold showers. There was no official Have-Not room for this season. There were no official Have-Nots for the entire pre-jury phase of the season. Although the entire house was put on slop for weeks 4 and 5, no official Have-Nots were named.
So far, Week 7 is the only week to feature Have-Nots, and that week's Have-Nots was determined by the following:
- In the second round of the Head of Household competition, a HouseGuest can choose to be a have by scouring the house for a Have card, or to remain eligible for the third round of the competition. Jacey-Lynne, Summer and Marty were the only HouseGuests to retrieve a Have card, making everyone else, but Gino, the HoH, Have-Nots for the week.

Notes
- ^Note 1 : On Night 1, Jay answered Big Brother's Phone, awarding them immunity for the week. As a result, they did not compete in that night's HOH competition.
- ^Note 2 : For winning each of the 3 heats in the first HOH competition, Hermon, Moose, and Josh each earned the chance to win HOH through a random choice of 3 doors. Hermon won HOH, while Moose and Josh each won immunity for the week.
- ^Note 3 : Following the Week 2 and Week 7 evictions, Canada voted for a Houseguest to receive immunity for the following week. Any previous winners were not eligible a second time. Marty was voted to be immune for Week 3 and Summer was voted to be immune for Week 8.
- ^Note 4 : This week featured a Chain of Safety Double Eviction. Following the regular eviction, the remaining HouseGuests participated in a Competition followed by the Chain of Safety Ceremony to determine the night's nominees. At the Chain of Safety Ceremony, the Housemates participated in a selection process to determine the nominees. Beginning with the Competition winner, (indicated by ), each HouseGuest would select another HouseGuest (indicated by ) to be safe until three remained. The three HouseGuests left unselected competed in the second challenge, with the winner (indicated by ) being safe. The two remaining HouseGuests were the final nominees, and faced the House’s Vote.
- ^Note 5 : During Week 7, a Secret POV was hidden in the house. The winner could remove a nominee only at the Week 7 Veto Ceremony. Jacey-Lynne found the Secret POV, and chose not to use it.
- ^Note 6 : This week was a Triple Eviction. Following the first eviction, the remaining HouseGuests played a modified week's worth of games, including HoH and Veto competitions and their respective ceremonies during the remainder of the live show, culminating in a second eviction that evicted two HouseGuests. Modifications included three nominations, the three nominees and two HGs (by random draw) competing in the Veto competition, and an eviction vote in which the HouseGuests voted to save a nominee, rather than to evict.
