Wow! Not much out there on the Barry Sisters. Does anybody have any written biographical material? 204.15.6.99 (talk) 14:26, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Written Biographical Material

The Barry Sisters' songs have been quite popular in Russia and Ukraine. There's a pretty good article by Yulia Korolkova [1]. I guess the soure is rather trustworthy since it's a site of a Jewish Community in Moscow. The thing is, it's in Russian. I' pretty sure I can translate it and add some more info. The Barry Sisters (United States)The Barry Sisters – This is currently the only topic in English Wikipedia titled "The Barry Sisters", so there is no need for disambiguation. I already moved "The Barry Sisters" to "The Barry Sisters (disambiguation)" because there is only one blue link. There is no need for parenthetical disambiguation if there is only one article with certain title. Vanjagenije (talk) 22:25, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Survey

  • Comment actually that's not how disambiguation works. There is no need for parenthetical disambiguation if there is only one topic, not "article with certain title". Having said that the Decca artists The British Three Barry Sisters don't seem to be covered in any other article. It might be worth checking Google Books here. Support - I have just added the UK threesome as notable footstep in the composing career of John Barry (composer) but apart from that moment of notability, the US group are clearly primary topic by a very big margin In ictu oculi (talk) 03:01, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Years of birth of Barry sisters

Turns out they were older than they claimed. Shocker! Claire was born in 1920 and Merna in 1922 or 1923. See reflinks and Claire Barry obituary. Updated accordingly. Quis separabit? 03:16, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Breier?

"said Breier" -- who on earth is Breier? There's no mention.
