The current status of Cyclone Gulab (inland)

Hey, just a question: Did Gulab already dissipated as a tropical cyclone or is it still active? I want to make a new sandbox about the system reintensifying in the Arabian Sea, where it will threaten Pakistan. Thank uu! 🌀HurricaneParrot🐦 05:26, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

HurricaneParrot, According to RSMC New Delhi (aka IMD), it has downgraded to WML (well marked low pressure area).[1] IMD predicts that it will emerge over the northeast Arabian Sea and will become a new cyclone. Based on the current naming system, it'll be named as "Shaheen". These predication is supported by GFS, ECMWF.[2][3] Beraniladri19 🌀🌀 05:33, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I see. This is why I'm planning to emerge myself from my wikibreak and make a sandbox for pre-Shaheen. Thank uu! :) 🌀HurricaneParrot🐦 05:37, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@HurricaneParrot: Wlcm :-) Beraniladri19 🌀🌀 05:38, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@HurricaneParrot: And btw can you improve Draft:Cyclone Gulab ? because despite being free, I'm currently facing some burnout (which happens every month). Beraniladri19 🌀🌀 05:42, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'll try my best about that. My schedule are also very tight today, but I'll see. 🌀HurricaneParrot🐦 05:47, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Beraniladri19! It's me, Cyclonicationly. I have a request: since you are the main editor of the 2021 NIO, do you have the archive links of the IMD for the bulletins of Depression BOB 05 in any chance? I would try to add it myself. Thanks! ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

I am just alerting editors who worked on the "Tropical Storm Nyatoh" entry on the 2021 Pacific typhoon season that I began a draft of the tropical storm. If it becomes notable enough for mainspace, we can move it, if not, we can delete it. Elijahandskip (talk) 04:45, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Elijahandskip, Ok Beraniladri19 🌀🌀 04:57, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Woops. Looks like I made a small mistake and didn't do my research before starting the WP:FUTURE draft. The storm isn't forecasted to impact people, so it will probably be deleted. You can ignore the message above. My bad. Elijahandskip (talk) 05:01, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merry Christmas

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Thanks for your writeup on Cyclone Batsirai (damn that's an annoying name to write out!) Each year, there are so many storms that form and eventually become part of the historical record. It's thanks to editors like you, writing that first draft for a storm, that makes sure Wikipedia stays such a reliable resource. Cheers! ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 02:11, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question

Hello! Can you please tell me why Cyclone Asani is redirecting to 2022 North Indian Ocean cyclone season#Severe Cyclonic Storm Asani? Why a separate article has not been opened yet on this? Wiki N Islam (talk) 13:35, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Because, it fails to achieve notabilty. That's why no article has been made.....as of now. But {{u|HurricaneEdgar]] made a draft so you can go there. Beraniladri19 🌀🌀 13:44, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
