Tremaine Emory

Tremaine Emory is a designer and creative consultant born in Georgia, Atlanta and raised in Queens, New York.[1] He is founder of Denim Tears, co founder of No Vacancy Inn, and creative director of Supreme.[2][3]


He has done work with Stüssy, Kanye West, Asics, Tom Sachs, Marc Jacobs, Frank Ocean, and more.[4]

Career

Marc Jacobs

In 2010, Emory moved to London, United Kingdom to work for Marc Jacobs. He worked for nine years with Jacobs.[5]

Kanye West

Emory served as creative consultant and and brand director for West from 2016 to 2018.[6]

Denim Tears

Emory founded clothing label, Denim Tears, in 2019. The first collection released on the 400th anniversary of slavery. The collection explored the history of cotton and slavery in America. The clothing featured floral wreath prints on the denim jeans, hoodies, and sweatshirts.[7]
