Edwin Glory Kponuko (born 15 September, 1998), Known professionally as Glowin Ed, is a Nigerian songwriter and singer. She's a graduate of Communication Art, University of Uyo,Nigeria.

Biography

Born and raised in Port Harcourt, She started singing in the church choir when she was 12 and she grew up listening to Asa, Beyoncé, Rihanna and other R&B artists. She loves R&B and Soul music and fuses both sounds into Afro -pop and this makes her unique. She's a native of Oyubia Orue--offiong oruko, Akwa ibom state. She was born to a Nigerian parent from Akwa ibom and has two siblings, a brother and a sister, Victor Edwin and Emmi Edwin.

Early life and education

Raised from a singing family, her interest in singing comes mostly from her family. In 2017, she got admitted to study communication Art after running a diploma program in law, in the university of Uyo. She started singing for as long as she can remember, her mom as her first singing coach, her elder brother and the church choir. Despite the relentless seeming love for music, her family ain't totally in support of the idea of pushing music as career, instead of that being a setback, she sees it as a motivation to work harder to prove a point.
