Charle Woods is my granddaddy, and now I look back reading this I feel immence pride in the accomplishments that run in my family. With hope of filling his shoes, I wish my grandfather eternal peace. God rest his soul. S.Woods
Dear S. Woods, I would like to know if you are a son or daughter of David, Richard, Timothy, Andrew, or Jonathan Woods. I thank you in advance. I knew Charles Woods for more than two decades. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.107.91.207 (talk) 08:23, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Charles Woods was my grandmother's nephew. Viola Moore was also put in an orphanage. Charles Woods attended our family reunions after we found out that his real mom and my grandmother were blood sisters. He was the nicest man. I am proud to have met him. I am so glad my grandmother found him and got to meet him before their deaths. I love reading about his life, he was an amazing man. He was the true meaning of perserverance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.245.179.2 (talk) 14:31, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
I met Mr. Woods in 1977 while I was in a political campaign for a Lt. Gov. candidate in that state. I believe he was the most remarkable human being I have ever personally met in my entire life. Tonight, while pawing through a box of old letters, I found a 1977 letter in which I mention meeting him in Dothan, Alabama, while accompanying my candidate. So I looked on Wikipedia and found this article. An unforgettable man. NelsonLB (talk) 04:17, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
