The Pilsen tram network serves the fourth biggest city in Czech Republic. Located in Plzeň, the network has three tram lines that run along 21.7km of track on a standard-gauge railway. It is operated by Plzeňské městské dopravní podniky (PMDP). Pilsen trams account for about 45% of the total volume of public transport in the city, forming the backbone of the city's transport system.
