updates and formatting

I think we should establish a layout so that authors can have some guidance to nucleate information on this site. For instance, should we have a common injuries section? History of sports medicine? Mission statement of sports medicine? Obsolete practices that are still prevalent? Somebody else throw in some suggestions. eximo (talk) 19:49, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sports medicine& Dentistry

Hello, my name is Kayla and I am reaching out to leave an evaluation in regards to this page on sports medicine. I am interested in seeing a connection between dental health and sports medicine. How does dental health affect sport athletes in connection to overall performance? Kayla Vedral (talk) 07:51, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Added information

Throughout the article I added some new content to help improve it. I added a couple sentences in the scope, establishment as a medical specialist, and common sport injuries. I felt like there should be more information about treatments for injuries since common injuries were talked about, so I added a new section called "Treatments for common sport injuries" following the common sport injuries section. My main contribution was adding new sub-sections in the Allied health team members section. I did that because there are many more medical specialists that help/treat sports injuries besides physical therapists and athletic trainers. The new sub-sections included nutritionists, primary care doctors, orthopedics, chiropractors, and podiatrists. In addition to these sections I added a some new information to both the physical therapist and athletic trainer sub-section. Allig11 (talk) 04:00, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
