Goujounac is a small village in the Lot valley in the South-West of France about 30kms to the west of Cahors and 9km south of Cazals.

The village is centred around one main street comprising of about 20 houses, a restaurant and a Tympan style church first built in the 15th Century. There are a number of smaller side streets and all told the village has about 100 inhabitants, increasing to 200 in the commune.

The commune contains 2 restaurants, a camp site with tennis court, swimming pool and basketball court all of which is owned and run by the commune.

Due to its location in the north west corner of the Quercy region of France, it is a great place to start tours of the local region tasting produce and wines
