Me, as an editor

I'm a wikipedia editor who edits pages that I have information to to add or change. Because I find pages to edit by using wikipedia primarily as a 'reader', you will only ever see me edit pages on English and French wikipedia, which are the only languages I use in normal, non academic or professional life.

I vastly prefer making minor edits, even when the information presented is strictly inadequate or incorrect. I find wikipedia intimating, especially compared to other wikimedia and wiki projects broadly, in addition to finding wiki writing intensely exhausting and not rewarding.

I would usually also prefer to write an opinion piece on something that is important to me! Writing it in an encyclopedic style feels wrong, so I write personal things instead of contributing those thoughts to wikipedia.

Since what I edit is related heavily with what I read about, it is most likely to see me make contributions to pages about transportation, places, political figures and ideology, disabilities and drugs.

Conflicts of Interest

I have a (admittedly quite funny) personal conflict of interest when writing about Hazel McCallion, former mayor of the city of Mississauga.
