This is a list of characters for Avataro Sentai Donbrothers, a Japanese tokusatsu television drama. It is the third series in the franchise released in Japan's Reiwa Era and the 46th entry of Toei's long-running Super Sentai series produced by TV Asahi. The series also acts as a sequel for the previous entry, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.[1]

Donbrothers

The titular Donbrothers are five individuals with totally different backgrounds who join together to rescue humans who turned into monsters called "Hitotsuki" while protecting them from alien beings called "Noto". The team utilize the Donblaster (ドンブラスター, Donburasutā) firearm and Avataro Gears (アバタロウギア, Abatarō Gia) to transform into forms based on the characters of the Momotarō folktale via Avatar Change,[2][3][4] in a fashion similar to the Zenkaigers' Sentai Gear system.[5][6] Like the Sentai Gears, the Avataro Gears also have special gears based on their Super Sentai predecessors, allowing them to transform into a past Sentai's form via Avatar Change, with the limitation that each of the Donbrothers can only transform into a past Sentai of the same color, so far the only exception being Zenkaizer, whom Taro can transform into, and Jiro, who can transform into the Super Sentai's sixth members, regardless of color.[7][8][4][9][10][11] While untransformed, they still can see the Anoni in their true forms and use the Noto Layer for fast traveling with special glasses each of them possess.[4] Their combined finishing moves are the Impeccable Peach: Avatar Wild Dance (桃代無敵・アバター乱舞, Tōdaimuteki Abatā Ranbu) and the Unprecedented Peach: Launch Robotaro (前人未桃・打ち上げロボタロウ, Zenjinmitō Uchiage Robotarō).[12][9][13]

Taro Momoi

Found in a peach-shaped capsule as a baby and raised by Jin, Taro Momoi (桃井 タロウ, Momoi Tarō) is 21 years old and lives alone, working part-time at the Shirokuma Express (シロクマ宅配便, Shirokuma Takuhaibin) delivery firm.[2][3][4] Taro is an extremely capable individual who excels in every subject, from house chores to combat, but lacks common sense or tact while dealing with others, which leaves him isolated. Despite that, Taro is always willing to help others in order to make them happy while searching for his own happiness, and never tells a lie.[3][4][14] According to the Noto, Taro is the last survivor of the Don Clan, which are branded as traitors by them for defending that humans and the Noto should coexist peacefully.[15]

Taro transforms into the red-colored leader of the team, Don Momotaro (ドンモモタロウ, Don Momotarō).[5][2][3][4] During combat, he wields the Zanglassword (ザングラソード, Zangurasōdo) katana as his side weapon.[16][4][6] His finishing moves are the Zanglassword: Decisive Peach Slice (ザングラソード・快桃乱麻, Zangurasōdo Kaitōranma) and the Frenzied Peach: Blast Party (狂瀾怒桃・ブラストパーティー, Kyōrandotō Burasuto Pātī).[4][6][17] He also possesses the Enya Rideon (エンヤライドン, En'ya Raidon) superbike.[5][18][19][7][4][6] Using his personal Avataro Gear Alter (アバタロウギアアルター, Abatarō Gia Arutā), he can transform into the Don Momotaro Alter (ドンモモタロウアルター, Don Momotarō Arutā) small mecha via Alter Change.[20][9] Using his personal Robotaro Gear (ロボタロウギア, Robotarō Gia), he can transform into the humanoid Don Robotaro (ドンロボタロウ, Don Robotarō) mecha via Avatar Change, whose finisher is the Lucid Peach: Avatar Light Blade (心桃滅却・アバター光刃, Shintōmekkyaku Abatā Kōjin).[21][22]

Taro Momoi is portrayed by Kouhei Higuchi (樋口 幸平, Higuchi Kōhei).[23][2] As a child, Taro is portrayed by Kira Miura (三浦 綺羅, Miura Kira).[24]

Shinichi Saruhara

Shinichi Saruhara (猿原 真一, Saruhara Shin'ichi) is 21 years old and is a wise but eccentric young man who is the brains of the team. He never had a job and maintains himself with gifts from those he helps with his wisdom.[2][3][20]

Shinichi transforms into the blue-colored Saru Brother (サルブラザー, Saru Burazā) who possesses super-human strength.[5][2][3][20] Using his personal Robotaro Gear, he can transform into the gorilla-type Saru Brother Robotaro (サルブラザーロボタロウ, Saru Burazā Robotarō) mecha via Avatar Change.[13][25]

Shinichi Saruhara is portrayed by Yuuki Beppu (別府 由来, Beppu Yūki)[23][2]

Haruka Kito

Haruka Kito (鬼頭 はるか, Kitō Haruka) is 17 years old and is a clueless student at Tsunokado High School (津野角高校, Tsunokado Kōkō) and aspiring manga artist who lives with her aunt, Yuriko. Just after receiving an important prize of her debut work, First Love Hero (初恋ヒーロー, Hatsukoi Hīrō), her career was destroyed when she was falsely accused of plagiarism and now works part-time at the Donbura coffee shop, initially unaware of Kaito's secret identity as Zenkaizer Black.[2][3][4][12][20]

Haruka transforms into the yellow-colored Oni Sister (オニシスター, Oni Shisutā).[5][2][3][4] During combat, she wields the Full Konbou (フルコンボウ, Furu Konbō) kanabō as her side weapon and relies on tricks to outsmart her enemies.[26][3][27][13] Using her personal Robotaro Gear, she can transform into the humanoid Oni Sister Robotaro (オニシスターロボタロウ, Oni Shisutā Robotarō) mecha via Avatar Change.[13][25]

Haruka Kito is portrayed by Kohaku Shida (志田 こはく, Shida Kohaku)[23][2]

Tsubasa Inuzuka

Tsubasa Inuzuka (犬塚 翼, Inuzuka Tsubasa) is 24 years old actor who is currently a runaway from the police after being falsely accused of the disappearance of his girlfriend, Natsumi and the rest of the theatrical troupe he worked with. So far he is the only member of the team who does not know the secret identity of the others, who also don't know his, despite their occasional encounters while untransformed.[a][2][3][12][14]

Tsubasa transforms into the black-colored, diminutive Inu Brother (イヌブラザー, Inu Burazā).[5][2][3][12] During combat, he wields a giant shuriken as his side weapon and possesses enhanced agility.[26][3][29] Using his personal Robotaro Gear, he can transform into the dog-type Inu Brother Robotaro (イヌブラザーロボタロウ, Inu Burazā Robotarō) mecha via Avatar Change.[13][25]

Tsubasa Inuzuka is portrayed by Totaro (柊太朗, Tōtarō)[23][2]

Tsuyoshi Kijino

Tsuyoshi Kijino (雉野 つよし, Kijino Tsuyoshi) is 33 years old and is a just-married employee of the Pheasant Consultant (フェズントコンサルタント, Fezunto Konsarutanto) company who works to support his wife, Miho.[3][12] Unaware of his wife's true nature as a Juto, Tsuyoshi is so protective of Miho that he allowed a Hitotsuki who kidnapped her to be captured by the Noto and briefly became the Hitotsuki Gekisouki after she got hospitalized from a traffic accident.[17][30]

Tsuyoshi transforms into the pink-colored, tall and thin Kiji Brother (キジブラザー, Kiji Burazā), who is able to fly.[5][2][3][4] Using his personal Robotaro Gear, he can transform into the pheasant-type Kiji Brother Robotaro (キジブラザーロボタロウ, Kiji Burazā Robotarō) mecha via Avatar Change.[13][25]

Tsuyoshi Kijino is portrayed by Hirofumi Suzuki (鈴木 浩文, Suzuki Hirofumi)[23][2]

Jiro Momotani

Jiro Momotani (桃谷 ジロウ, Momotani Jirō) is 21 years old and is an aspiring hero who met Taro once in high school, having a similar origin in found in a peach-shaped capsule as a baby and raised in a village facility. He left his village following Taro's disappearance, claiming it to be a voice in his head urging him to become a hero.[31][32][33][30] Jiro would later be revealed to have dissociative personality disorder, having a second violent personality that attacks anyone when he feels himself humiliated.[29]

Unlike the main five Donbrothers, Jiro utilizes the Ryuko no Geki (龍虎之戟, Ryūko no Geki) ji to transform into the Chinese dragon/Monkey King-themed, gold-colored Don Doragoku (ドンドラゴクウ, Don Doragokū), who wields its spear mode.[33][30][34] His finishing move is the Lightning Dragon Flash (ライトニングドラゴンフラッシュ, Raitoningu Doragon Furasshu).[30] Jiro's other personality uses his own Avataro Gear to transform into the tiger-themed, silver-colored Don Torabolt (ドントラボルト, Don Toraboruto), who wields the Ryuko no Geki's axe mode. While transformed, he is equipped with the gong-themed, shield-like Tiguardora (虎的盾鑼(タイガードラ), Taigādora) gauntlet on his left arm, which he can use to transform into a past sixth member of Super Sentai and using his personal Avataro Gear Alter, transform into the Don Doragoku Alter (ドンドラゴクウアルター, Don Doragokū Arutā) small mecha via Alter Change.[29][35]

Jiro Momotani is portrayed by Raizou Ishikawa (石川 雷蔵, Ishikawa Raizō).[31][33] As a child and a teenager, Jiro is portrayed by Ryūto Gotō (後藤 りゅうと, Gotō Ryūto) and Yū Mizusawa (水澤 優海, Mizusawa Yū) respectively.[33]

Alters

Using Avataro Gear Alters, Don Momotaro Alter and Don Doragoku Alter can summon other small mecha themed after some mecha pertaining to the previous Super Sentai that can also combine with them for enhanced capabilities.[12][9][36][10]

  • ToQger Alter (トッキュウジャーアルター, Tokkyūjā Arutā): A Red Ressha-themed Alter that can combine with Don Momotaro Alter to form the tank-like Don ToQ Momotaro Alter (ドントッキュウモモタロウアルター, Don Tokkyū Momotarō Arutā).[20][36]
  • Zyuohger Alter (ジュウオウジャーアルター, Jūōjā Arutā): Three cube-like Alters (themed after Cube Eagle, Cube Shark and Cube Lion) that can combine with Don Momotaro Alter to form Don Zyuoh Momotaro Alter (ドンジュウオウモモタロウアルター, Don Jūō Momotarō Arutā) with a pair of wings and tail for aerial combat.[37]
  • Ryusoulger Alter (リュウソウジャーアルター, Ryūsōjā Arutā): A Tyramigo-themed Alter that can combine with Don Momotaro Alter to form Don Ryusoul Momotaro Alter (ドンリュウソウモモタロウアルター, Don Ryūsō Momotarō Arutā).[17]
  • Ninninger Alter (ニンニンジャーアルター, Ninninjā Arutā): A Karakuri Hengen/Nin Shuriken-themed Alter that can combine with Don Doragoku Alter to form Don Ninnin Doragoku Alter (ドンニンニンドラゴクウアルター, Don Ninnin Doragokū Arutā), armed with four shurikens.[10][11]

Don ZenkaiOh

Don ZenkaiOh (ドンゼンカイオー, Don Zenkaiō) is a mecha formed by the combination of an enlarged Enya Rideon with Juran Tyranno via Don Zenkai Combination (ドン全界合体, Don Zenkai Gattai) when the mecha's Robotaro Gear is used.[7][4][6][14] Its finisher is the Don Zenkai Crush (ドン・ゼンカイクラッシュ, Don Zenkai Kurasshu).[4][6] It first appeared in episode 42 of Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.[7]

Don Onitaijin

Don Onitaijin (ドンオニタイジン) is a mecha formed by the combination of the Donbrothers' Robotaro forms.[38][39] It is armed with a pair of Kijin Swords (キジンソード, Kijin Sōdo) and can also enlarge to fight a Hitotsuking when the mecha's Robotaro Gear is used. Its finisher is the Unmatched Peach: Donbro Paradise (一騎桃千・ドンブラパラダイス, Ikkitōsen Donbura Paradaisu).[38]

Recurring characters

Kaito Goshikida

Kaito Goshikida (五色田 介人, Goshikida Kaito), whom Jin addresses as the "administrator", acts as the owner of the Donbura (どんぶら) coffee shop, he is similar in appearance and name with Kaito Goshikida of Zenkaitopia, the leader of the Zenkaigers, but his behavior and personality are different. He transforms into Zenkaizer Black (ゼンカイザーブラック, Zenkaizā Burakku) who uses a colorless version of the original Zenkaizer's suit with similar powers and equipment. Kaito assists the Donbrothers from the sidelines, summoning Juran Tyranno to form Don ZenkaiOh, retrieving the Avataro Gears from the defeated Hitotsuki, which are later used by the Donbrothers in battle and monitoring the "Kibi-Points" (キビ・ポイント, Kibi Pointo) obtained by each of Taro's companions that they can exchange for having their wishes granted.[2][3][4][37]

Kaito Goshikida is portrayed by Kiita Komagine (駒木根 葵汰, Komagine Kiita), who also portrayed the original Kaito Goshikida in Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.[23][2]

Jin Momoi

Jin Momoi (桃井 陣, Momoi Jin), also known as the "guardian" is Taro's adoptive father trapped within the closed space between the human world and the Noto Layer, having recruited the other Donbrothers to aid his son. Jin is captured by the Noto and punished for reasons unknown to keep the Juto from invading the human world and the Noto Layer, being occasionally is visited by both the Donbrothers and the Noto for his guidance.[2][3][4][40]

Jin Momoi is portrayed by Soko Wada (和田 聰宏, Wada Sōkō)[23][2]

Noto

The Noto (脳人, Nōto, lit. "Brain Person") are inhabitants of the Noto Layer (脳人レイヤー, Nōto Reiyā), a higher dimension that overlays with the human world formed by human thoughts. They pursue the Hitotsuki to prevent them from causing disturbances in their own world Ideon (イデオン),[2][3][4][37][15] imprisoning the host within a closed space between the human world and the Noto Layer after seemingly killing them, even going to the point of forcing their transformation into Hitotsuki in order to slay them later, which brings them and the Donbrothers to antagonize each other, a conflict that intensifies when they discover that Taro is a survivor from the Don Clan.[4][15][30] The Noto answer to a mysterious entity known as the "Council".[37] Each Noto carries a Noto Brace (脳人ブレス, Nōto Buresu) bracelet, which they utilize to transform into their battle forms, each equipped with the Noto Shield (脳人シールド, Nōto Shīrudo) on their chest and can create a door on a person's forehead to determine if their Hitotsuki is about to emerge or not.[4][37][41]

Sonoi

Sonoi (ソノイ) is a calm and collected man interested the human world's art who enjoys watching paintings.[2][3] While surprisingly heroic and empathic towards humans as a whole, he loathes greedy humans enough to personally cause their transformation into Hitotsuki so he can capture them.[4] He also forms a complicated friendship with Taro before learning his identity as Don Momotaro and one of the last living members of the Don Clan, deciding to defeat him in battle.[17][15]

While transformed into his navy blue-colored battle form, he wields the Baron Sword (バロンソード, Baron Sōdo).[4]

Sonoi is portrayed by Yuya Tominaga (富永 勇也, Tominaga Yūya)[23][2]

Sononi

Sononi (ソノニ) is a passionate woman interested in the human society's love affairs.[2][3] While transformed into her white-colored battle form, she wields the Condor Arrow (コンドルアロー, Kondoru Arō) bladed bow, which can be separated into a pair of swords.[20]

Sononi is portrayed by Amisa Miyazaki (宮崎 あみさ, Miyazaki Amisa)[23][2]

Sonoza

Sonoza (ソノザ) is a mentally unstable man interested in human emotions.[2][3] While transformed into his brown-colored battle form, he wields the Kage Spear (カゲスピア, Kage Supia).[12]

Sonoza is portrayed by Shinnosuke Takahashi (タカハシ シンノスケ, Takahashi Shin'nosuke)[23][2]

Don Murasame

Don Murasame (ドンムラサメ) is a ninja/shark-themed, purple-colored, Donbrother-like warrior who was sealed until he released by Mother and sent to fight the Donbrothers.

Mother

Mother (マザー, Mazā) is an unknown entity from the Noto Layer who releases Don Murasame to do her bidding.

Mother is voiced by Mamiko Noto (能登 麻美子, Noto Mamiko)

Anoni

The Anoni (アノーニ, Anōni) are strange creatures from the Noto Layer who disguise as humans and blend into society, only revealing themselves to assist the Noto or the Hitotsuki in battle or when they are exposed.[4] They are armed with Ano Hammers (アノハンマー, Ano Hanmā).[4]

Juto

Juto (獣人, Jūto, lit. "Beast Person") are mysterious entities that are a threat to both humans and the Noto, who can't defeat them with their powers.[13][32] They have a compulsion for folding animal-themed origami related to their true forms.[40]

  • Cat Juto: A feral Juto that took the appearance of Kenji Sayama after his disappearance. He is portrayed by Ryoji Sugimoto, who also portrays Kenji Sayama.
  • Crane Juto: A Juto that assumed the identity of Miho Kijino (雉野 みほ, Kijino Miho), Tsuyoshi's wife and a hairdresser of the Little Morgane (リトルモルガーヌ, Ritoru Morugānu) hair salon, having took Natsumi's appearance.[12][37][40] Unlike the Cat Juto, Miho can fully integrate into human society with brief relapses of her true nature while avoiding Tsubasa. Miho Kijino is portrayed by Momoko Arata (新田 桃子, Arata Momoko),[9] who also portrays Natsumi.

Hitotsuki

The Hitotsuki (ヒトツ鬼) are humans turned into monsters when overcome by their inner desires whose presence is a threat to both the human world and the Noto Layer. Most of them also are infused with a Sentai Gear.[4] If one of them is defeated by the Donbrothers, their hosts turn back to normal.[42] But if a Noto defeats the Hitotsuki, their hosts are imprisoned within the closed space between the human world and the Noto Layer.[4][20][30] In both cases, the gears in their possession separates from their bodies and are converted into Avataro Gears.[14]

  • Benitsuki (ベニツ鬼): A Hitotsuki who was originally an unnamed taxi driver, captured by Sonoi.[4]
  • Shisotsuki (シソツ鬼): A Hitotsuki who was originally Yoshioka (吉岡), Haruka's classmate and a former table tennis club member, whose desire is to become stronger with table tennis. He is captured by Sonoi.[4] Yoshioka is portrayed by Yūsuke Yatōji (八頭司 悠友, Yatōji Yūsuke).[43]
  • Kishiryuki (騎士竜鬼, Kishiryūki): A knight-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Ryusoulger Gear created by Sonoi. He was originally Makoto Kasuga (春日 誠, Kasuga Makoto), a table tennis medalist, whose desire is to prove that he is the strongest. He is defeated by Don Momotaro.[4] Makoto Kasuga is portrayed by Masanari Kanou (狩野 絹成, Kanō Masanari).[43]
  • Resshaki (烈車鬼): A train-themed Hitotsuki infused with the ToQger Gear. She was originally Sanae Isono (磯野 さなえ, Isono Sanae), a 68-year-old part-time worker of Shirokuma Express whose desire is to look younger. She is defeated by Don Momotaro, Oni Sister, Inu Brother, and Kiji Brother.[12] Sanae Isono is portrayed by Sachiko Matsuura (松浦 佐知子, Matsuura Sachiko)[9] In her 40s, she is portrayed by Sanae Yuki (結城 さなえ, Yūki Sanae) and in 20s, she is portrayed by Momoka Kuroki (黒木 百花, Kuroki Momoka).[9]
  • Kaitouki (快盗鬼, Kaitōki): A phantom thief-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Lupinranger Gear. He was originally Kurokuma (クロクマ, lit. Black Bear), a thief who passes as a courier to steal lights of his victims' houses out of his desire to bring darkness to others. He is captured by Sononi.[20] Kurokuma is portrayed by Shutaro Kadoshita (門下 秀太郎, Kadoshita Shūtarō).[36]
  • Chourikiki (超力鬼, Chōrikiki): An Ancient Egypt-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Ohranger Gear. He was originally Yukio Mizuno (水野 幸雄, Mizuno Yukio), an onigiri specialty store owner whose desire is to make the best onigiri in Japan. He is defeated by the Donbrothers.[42] Yukio Mizuno is portrayed by Kizuki (きづき).[24]
  • Keisatsuki (警察鬼): A police dog-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Patranger Gear. He was originally Kenji Sayama obsessed with apprehending Tsubasa for the sake of his career. He is defeated by Don Momotaro.[14]
  • Doubutsuki (動物鬼, Dōbutsuki): An animal-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Zyuohger Gear. She was originally Fūka Kirita (切田 風香, Kirita Fūka),[44][b] a nurse whose desire is to look after her patients. She is defeated by the Donbrothers.[37] Fūka Kirita is portrayed by Hitomi Uneda (畦田 ひとみ, Uneda Hitomi).[44]
  • Chikyuki (地球鬼, Chikyūki): A globe-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Fiveman Gear. He was originally an unnamed Tsunokado High School principal obsessed with enforcing discipline toward the students. He is defeated by the Donbrothers.[45] The unnamed principal is portrayed by Daifuku Marui (丸井 大福, Marui Daifuku).[46]
  • Mashinki (魔進鬼): A gemstone-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Kiramager Gear. He was originally Sakaki (), an artist obsessed in finding a suitable model for his drawings. After Sakaki kidnaps Miho, an enraged Kiji Brother prevents Don Momotaro from defeating Mashinki so Sonoi can capture him.[17] Sakaki is portrayed by Junpei Shimada (島田 惇平, Shimada Junpei).[47]
  • Tokumeiki (特命鬼): A cheetah-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Go-Busters Gear. He was originally Taichi Izawa (井沢 太一, Izawa Taichi), a hospitalized old man whose desire to play as a child again caused him to astral project his consciousness in the form of his childhood self. He is defeated by Don Robotaro.[21] Taichi Izawa is portrayed by Bunmei Harada (原田 文明, Harada Bunmei), his childhood self portrayed by Ouga Tsukao (塚尾 桜雅, Tsukao Ōga).[22]
  • Kaizokuki (海賊鬼): A pirate-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Gokaiger Gear. He was originally Naruki Ōi (大井 成樹, Ōi Naruki),[25][c] an aspiring manga artist. He is defeated by the Robotaro Donbrothers.[13] Naruki Ōi is portrayed by Yuji Kubo (久保 雄司, Kubo Yūji).[25]
  • Shurikenki (手裏剣鬼): A shuriken-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Ninninger Gear. He was originally Minoru Ōno (大野 稔, Ōno Minoru),[b] a man who wants to master the way of the ninja. He is defeated by the Robotaro Donbrothers.[40] Minoru Ōno is portrayed by Takashi Sakakibara (榊原 卓士, Sakakibara Takashi).[48]
  • Uchuki (宇宙鬼, Uchūki): A World Elephant-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Kyuranger Gear. He was originally an unnamed idol otaku. He is defeated by the Robotaro Donbrothers.[38] The unnamed idol otaku is portrayed by Wataru Oguri (小栗 わたる, Oguri Wataru).[39]
  • Zyudenki (獣電鬼, Jūdenki): An electric battery-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Kyoryuger Gear. She was originally Fusako (房子), a woman craving for attention. She is defeated by the Robotaro Donbrothers.[15] Fusako is portrayed by Fukiko Hara (原 扶貴子, Hara Fukiko).[49]
  • Kousokuki (高速鬼, Kōsokuki): A sports car-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Turboranger Gear. He was originally an unnamed high school shogi player who tries to fulfill his desire to become stronger with shogi. He is defeated by Don Robotaro.[32] The unnamed high school shogi player is portrayed by Taisei Ishida (石田 泰誠, Ishida Taisei).[33]
  • Gekisouki (激走鬼, Gekisōki): A race car-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Carranger Gear. He was originally Tsuyoshi Kijino, who became furious over his wife being hospitalized after a traffic accident. He is defeated by Don Momotaro and Don Doragoku.[30]
  • Kyoryuki (恐竜鬼, Kyōryūki): A dinosaur/fossil-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Zyuranger Gear. He was originally an unnamed gamer who was anger at losing. He is defeated by Don Doragoku.[29] The unnamed gamer is portrayed by Ryuya Minato (湊 竜也, Minato Ryūya).[35]
  • Chojinki (鳥人鬼, Chōjinki): A bird-themed Hitotsuki infused with the Jetman Gear. She was originally Kanako (加奈子), a woman who got heartbroken once discovering that Tsubasa, with whom she is infatuated, is Inu Brother. She is defeated by the Robotaro Donbrothers.[10] Kanako is portrayed by Yuka Kohinata (小日向 ゆか, Kohinata Yuka). [11]

Other Hitotsuki

  • Entotsuki (煙突鬼): A chimney-themed Hitotsuki who resembles Resshaki. He is defeated by the Donbrothers. This Hitotsuki appears exclusively in the web-exclusive Avataro Sentai Donbrothers Spin-Off: This Is the Donbrothers' Roll Call! The True Avataro!?.
  • Ninpuuki (忍風鬼, Ninpūki): A fire/tornado/film-themed Hitotsuki, infused with the Hurricaneger Gear. This Hitotsuki appears exclusively in the film Avataro Sentai Donbrothers the Movie: New First Love Hero.

Hitotsuking

On some occasions, the defeated Hitotsuki evolve into giant forms called Hitotsuking (ヒトツ鬼ング, Hitotsukingu) that rampage in the Noto Layer, forcing the Donbrothers to defeat them a second time before successfully rescuing their hosts and extracting the Sentai Gears from their bodies.[4]

  • Kishiryuking (騎士竜鬼ング, Kishiryūkingu): A KishiryuOh-themed Hitotsuking originated from Kishiryuki's remains, he is destroyed by Don ZenkaiOh.[4]
  • Resshaking (烈車鬼ング, Resshakingu): A ToQ Ressha-themed Hitotsuking originated from Resshaki's remains, she is destroyed by Don ZenkaiOh.[12]
  • Keisatsuking (警察鬼ング, Keisatsukingu): A Pat Kaiser-themed Hitotsuking originated from Keisatsuki's remains, he is destroyed by Don ZenkaiOh.[14]
  • Chikyuking (地球鬼ング, Chikyūkingu): A Max Magma-themed Hitotsuking originated from Chikyuki's remains, he is destroyed by Don ZenkaiOh.[45]
  • Uchuking (宇宙鬼ング, Uchūkingu): A KyurenOh-themed Hitotsuking originated from Uchuki's remains, he is destroyed by Don Onitaijin.[38]
  • Zyudenking (獣電鬼ング, Jūdenkingu): A Kyoryuzin-themed Hitotsuking originated from Zyudenki's remains, she is destroyed by Don Onitaijin.[15]
  • Kousokuking (高速鬼ング, Kōsokukingu): A Turbo Robo-themed Hitotsuking originated from Kousokuki's remains, he is destroyed by Don Onitaijin.[32]
  • Kyoryuking (恐竜鬼ング, Kyōryūkingu): A Guardian Beast Tyrannosaurus-themed Hitotsuking originated from Kyoryuki's remains, he is destroyed by Don Onitaijin.[29]
  • Chojinking (鳥人鬼ング, Chōjinkingu): A Jet Garuda-themed Hitotsuking originated from Chojinki's remains, she is destroyed by Don Onitaijin.[10]

Other characters

  • Natsumi (夏美): Tsubasa's girlfriend who used to be part from the same theatrical troupe as him. She disappeared after an attack of the Crane Juto, leading to Tsubasa being accused of the crime.[14][10] Natsumi is portrayed by Momoko Arata, who also portrays Miho Kijino.
  • Yuriko Kito (鬼頭 ゆり子, Kitō Yuriko): Haruka's aunt and a policewoman, portrayed by Hitomi Miwa (三輪 ひとみ, Miwa Hitomi).[20][36]
  • Manager: Tsuyoshi's unnamed boss portrayed by Kohtaro Taki (滝 晃太朗, Taki Kōtarō).[12][9]
  • Ishikawa (石川), Takenaka (竹中), and Kiriyama (桐山):[9][d] Taro's co-workers portrayed by Takahito Ueda (植田 敬仁, Ueda Takahito), Akira Takeuchi (竹内 啓, Takeuchi Akira), and Ryosuke Yusa (遊佐 亮介, Yusa Ryōsuke) respectively.[12][9]
  • Kenji Sayama (狭山 健児, Sayama Kenji):[e] A retiring detective who pursues Tsubasa. He once turned into a Hitotsuki but is rescued by the Donbrothers.[14] He is one of 41 bus passengers who disappeared during a Juto attack, with the perpetrator assuming his form.[13][40] Kenji Sayama is portrayed by Ryoji Sugimoto (杉本 凌士, Sugimoto Ryōji).[28]
  • Marina Maeda (前田 真利菜, Maeda Marina): A photographer who temporarily assumes Haruka's place as Oni Sister after she leaves the Donbrothers using her Kibi-Points.[13] Marina Maeda is portrayed by Hiyori Katada (片田 陽依, Katada Hiyori).[25]
