- There are no alpha-2 code for any country as "UP".^[1] US and UK are also common for other things but they are both redirected to certain countries anyway. However, I am not vouching for UP as a redirect to Uttar Pradesh itself but for the specific page called Economy of Uttar Pradesh. Economy of UP or UP economy does not mean anything other than Uttar Pradesh Economy. So, it's a valid argument. Also, there are other redirects too in here which are very obvious redirects.
