Welsh parents?

I'd like to see a reference for the Welsh parents. This source contradicts the statement:

http://genealogie.planete.qc.ca/images/lignee_Ford_Glen.pdf

It seems his parents (his father at least) was a fourth generation Quebecer (Canadian). Furthermore, his Ford ancestor was from England. Maybe his mom was Welsh??? 69.159.89.88 16:01, 14 December 2006 (UTC) Mom was from Pontypridd, South Wales. Said to be in his autobiography. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.149.21.81 (talk) 14:39, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace

I have been contacted by Ford's son who says IMDb and other sources are wrong and that Glenn Ford was born in Quebec City. I have included one link to an interview with Glenn Ford in the infobox, and then made the unusual step of citing Peter Ford's e-mail to me in the text because he also provided me with the name of the hospital. This skirts original research, I know, but is only intended to be a temporary reference until Peter Ford's biography of his father is released in the near future. I have asked if he can provide a printed source. The IMDb listing is wrong and a correction has been submitted to them. This said, it's possible Saint-Christine is a part of Quebec City, the same way Scarborough is part of Toronto... 23skidoo 13:35, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, since IMDB is user-submitted it should not ever be used as a source for Wikipedia.--Gloriamarie (talk) 19:03, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Born in Canada

Should the categories Americans of Welsh/Scottish descent be deleted since there are already Canadians of W/S descent? And what about Welsh-American actors? Clarityfiend (talk) 22:20, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Much better new images

An anonymous editor has added a much better lead image. Although it is a screen capture, it originates from the Commons, so it's kosher. 23skidoo (talk) 20:02, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Greedy son?

I heard Glenn`s son, took control of all his dads property and monies well before Glenn died....anyone enlighten me further? Zorro59 (talk) 18:55, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Did his father have dementia? (92.15.204.113 (talk) 17:57, 16 February 2016 (UTC))[reply]

Disambiguation

May I suggest that we create a disambiguation page, there is another Glenn Ford that has been prominent in the media lately and my classmates and students are routinely directing to the actor, rather than the death-row exonoree. The other Glenn Ford's article links here: Glenn Ford. Birkwad (talk) 15:37, 30 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, does anyone have thoughts now that there are two notable Glenn Fords to change the title to Glenn Ford (Actor)? Birkwad (talk) 22:17, 1 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Politics

Does anyone know when he switched from being a Democrat to a Republican? (92.15.204.113 (talk) 17:56, 16 February 2016 (UTC))[reply]

Racism

Glenn Ford was accused of racism after refusing to sit next to Gail Fisher at an awards ceremony in 1973. (2A00:23C4:6384:600:3929:8D8F:4416:DCD9 (talk) 00:02, 18 August 2017 (UTC))[reply]
