There is a Variety article about the Penske acquisition here: [1] that could be used to support a redirect with a better citation if that is the outcome. I didn't see much else substantive from Variety in covering Gold Derby, which leads me to think the redirect will be the best outcome -- pending if others find more sources. matt91486 (talk) 11:29, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to Penske Media Corporation as above, although I'd have no objection to deletion. Far too much WP:SELFPUB. I've just posted on WT:MUSIC about how so many musical artists "List of awards and nominations received by <artist>" pages list Gold Derby Music Awards alongside Grammys, BRIT awards, BET Awards, Mercury Prize and other awards from legitimate music awards organisations. Perhaps people consider them to be legitimate awards, because there is a Gold Derby wikipedia page with a Music Awards section, but it appears that all the references to the Gold Derby Music Awards and Gold Derby Film Awards on the Gold Derby page, come from the goldderby.com site itself. Agreed, I started this because entries for Gold Derby TV awards was added to a few pages and thought shouldn't as not notable. Hopefully can remove all if this closes as redirect or delete. Indagate (talk) 10:03, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
