Should this article be marked as a stub?

Currently (at the time of writing this), this entire Wikipedia article consists of only 4 paragraphs. That seems awfully short to me, especially for a science-related article. That said, I know virtually nothing about geology or anything surrounding geology, so I don't know how much more could or should be added to this article.
