List of Polish people
The Polish people, who in 1930 had a world-wide population of some 22 million, experienced a major population surge in the 1960s and by 2005 had attained a world-wide population of over 53 million.
This is a partial list of famous Polish or Polish-speaking/writing persons, or persons born in other countries, which are now Poland, or on historically Polish soil. In the interest of fairness and accuracy, a minority of persons of mixed heritage have their respective ancestries credited.
