Well a long time ago in the dark days before the World Wide Web, there was an ancient technology in use by the peoples of that time, this now forgotten artifact was known as the Modem, some say it was a secret code that meant something more, however no one now alive remembers it.
In those days these modems were used to connect to archaic networks known as BBSs and within one of those BBS resided an ancient by the name of StarSlayer, it is said he was a high school student, who perhaps spent too much time on said BBSs.
Anyhow several years later with the advent of the world wide web, this StarSlayer found out about the curse of pirates, in particular those who went about stealing names. In this case it seemed all sorts of people were using his name, and thus he had to add 'real' to his name to ensure that it was recognized that the name was originally his. Even though it only started out as something he thought sounded cool as a handle for a game of Trade Wars 2002...
