Yeprem Jewellery (known as YEPREM) is a Beirut-owned luxury jewellery brand with a workshop established since 1964.[1][2] It sells fine jewellery, watches, and Armenian cultural Khachkar jewels.[3] Yeprem is available across stores in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.[4][5]
YEPREM was founded in 1964 by Yeprem Chakardemian in Lebanon. Until today, the business remains under the control of the family's second generation, Virna, Loutfic, and John.[6]
History
Early history
In 1964, Yeprem Chakardemian was inspired by a golden family bracelet passed upon him by his mother, which became a turning point in the family's history.[6] At the age of 15, Yeprem debuted his craftsmanship in the jewellery manufacturing and watchmaking industry by creating artistic pieces in unique styles, integrating the cultures of both Lebanon and Armenia.[6]
Managing directors
Passing down the family business, the new generation, John Chakardemian[2], Loutfic Chakardemian[2], and Virna Chakardemian[7], has joined their father, Yeprem Chakardemian in expanding the brand.
Logo
Yeprem's emblem "Y" signifies the initials of the brand's managing partners, John, Loutflic, and Virna. The three letters, "J", "L", and "V" combined together form "Y" symbolizing the founder, Yeprem Chakardemian.

On the 50th anniversary of Yeprem, many celebrities, including Rihanna, Madonna, Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss, Mila Kunis, and Allison Williams, wore Yeprem.[13]
Yeprem gained popularity when Charles Aznavour began wearing their khachkar cross.[8]
