Carlton Devan "Corky" Palmer (March 14, 1954 – August 10, 2022) was a college baseball head coach at Meridian Community College and as the head coach of the Southern Miss Golden Eagles baseball team for 12 seasons, before retiring at the end of the 2009 season.[1] In his final season, he led the Golden Eagles to the school's first appearance in the College World Series.
