Edits

Today I wrote some content for this page and lots of content for the Thumb Wars Page. Feel free to comment on it. -Whetstone

Thanks for the content! It'd be nice if you could use the "Show preview" button though, so you don't fill up the page history with tiny edits. --Staecker 5 July 2005 05:07 (UTC)

It's totally biased and not at all acurate. He wasn't the first person to decorate his thumb and use it for puppetry, and I seriously doubt that anyone really looks at him at some sort of real contributor to fandom in the grand scheme of things. The whole section you added reeks of glowing attributions. I did some research on the "Fan Film Quartely" that was quoted as a reference and it seems to be nothing more than a 'zine and not a major periodical. Therefore, it does not merit being used as a source anymore than some random fan site does. Vaginsh 12:31, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is a shame there isn't a 'written by a retard' tag.

Little of this article is comprehensible. If I knew about this guy I'd completely redo the page, but fortunately I don't. 80.189.73.146 02:50, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the spelling and grammar is shameful.--Flvg94 17:23, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
He was born in Los Angeles, California, living with his wife & children. That's an accomplished newborn! --Cammoore 09:41, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I added this to the needs attention category, since it obviously does and all the discussion seems to agree -Stradenko 00:43, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article blows

I hope someone who actually knows a thing or two about Steve Oedekerk (and the English language) will revise this thing, because right now it has alot of misleading information. Also it seems to have been vandalized a bit. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.110.223.204 (talk) 02:44, 8 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Stretch Armstrong

In February 2009, Universal Pictures announced that Steve Oedekerk would be penning a film adaptation of the stretch armstrong doll. 1. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/SuperGamer/news/?a=10069 2. http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/06/12/is-ron-howard-directing-stretch-armstrong/ 3. http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118000093.html?categoryid=13&cs=1&query=stretch+armstrong 4.
