Manatees in science fiction
Does anyone know of some science fiction stories about manatees that have prominent roles in outer space habitats? Dexter Nextnumber (talk) 06:29, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

Manatees occur in the Nariva swamp, Trinidad, where they are protected. Recent estimates run to over 40 animals (pers com--no ref). There are regular sightings in a managed protected area locally known as the 'manatee pond'.
