*repeat repeat.[1] is an indie rock band based in East Nashville, Tennessee that started in 2013 with their indie album Bad Latitude[2] with founding members Jared Corder and Kristyn Corder. They had their first hometown show at The Mercy Lounge[3] in Nashville opening for surf rock pioneer Dick Dale.[4] The band was included in AP.net's top Surf Rock Bands of 2019[5] They were featured on NPR Radio with a live session.[6]

Members

Members of *repeat repeat are the founding members Jared Corder (Vocals/Guitar) and Kristyn Corder (Vocals/Keyboards), with a live band of Neal Klein (Guitar/Bass), Dave Dreas (Guitar/Bass), Xander Naddra (Guitar), and Andrew Kahl (Drums/Percussion).[1]

Bad Latitude (2014)

The first release by *repeat repeat was produced by Gregory Lattimer[7] and recorded in a basement in Nashville in four days.[8]

Floral Canyon (2017)

*repeat repeat's Floral Canyon was produced by Gregory Lattimer and released by Dangerbird Records,[9][10] Their second single, "Girlfriend", which was a song Jared wrote for Kristyn in hopes of starting a romantic relationship, made Soundcheck: 21 Best Music Releases Of The Week for Nylon[11][12] and 5 Songs You Need to Listen To This Week by Time.[13] From there they played Bonnaroo in 2018 where they were noted as Most Enthusiastic Rockers by Rolling Stone.[14]

Glazed (2019)

Their album release Glazed via Dangerbird Records was produced by Patrick Carney from The Black Keys with their single "Hi, I'm Waiting" with music video premiered via Billboard[15] and made the Top 10 Modern Bands Keeping Surf Rock Alive and Well in 2019 by Alternative Press (AP).[5][16]

TBD (2022)

An LP has been announced for a late 2022 release and is being recorded and produced at the band's own studio, The Polychrome Ranch[17] located in Nashville.

Touring

The band have toured and opened up for The Black Keys and Modest Mouse on their Let's Rock Tour[18] in 2019, where they performed at Bridgestone Arena in their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. They have also played other events such as Forecastle,[19] Shaky Knees[20], Bonnaroo[14] Firefly[21] and Nashville's Live on the Green.[22]
