Andrew Trimble (born 20 October 1984) is an Irish rugby union footballer from Coleraine, County Derry in Northern Ireland. He attended Coleraine Inst, where he competed in the Ulster Schools Cup.

He plays at outside centre or on the wing for Ulster Rugby, and more recently Ireland. Trimble, replacing the injured Brian O'Driscoll, made his debut for Ireland against Australia during the 2005 IRB Autumn Internationals, putting in a solid performance despite playing on the losing side. He started again the following week against Romania, securing victory for the Irish with two tries. In April 2006 he signed a new three year deal with Ulster. Trimble also plays club rugby for Ballymena in the AIB League and has represented Ireland Schools and Ireland U21.

Building on his earlier success, Trimble made the 22-man squad for Ireland's 2006 RBS Six Nations opener against Italy. He came on as a second half replacement to score his third try against France, the following week.

Trimble's 6 tries in 16 games for Ulster and performances in the autumn internationals and 6 Nations, earned him the BT Irish Rugby Union Players Association's newcomer of the year.

Andrew Trimble is a practising Christian who studied theology at the Belfast Bible College.
