The National Shrine of Ina Poon Bato (Filipino: Pambansang Dambana ng Ina Poon Bato) Is one of the main churches of the Apostolic Catholic Church and serves as the Pontifical Seat of the Patriarch of the Apostolic Catholic Church, +Juan Almario E.M. Calampiano, D.D., OMJF.[1]

History

The National Shrine of Ina Poon Bato is located at 1003 EDSA, Project 7, Veterans Village, Quezon City, Philippines.[2]

First Chapel

The first Ina Poon Bato church was once located at the northern end of EDSA in the community of Agham - Diliman. It was established in the 1980s and at this time, it is still a Chapel. Month after month, it holds a Cursillo Class.[3]

But, due to the project of the Government of Former President Joseph Estrada, the chapel was Demolished because it will be passed by the MRT-3 and its Last Depot will be built there, on North Avenue.[4]

Current Shrine

The current Shrine was built as a replacement for the chapel that was destroyed by the MRT project. But, unknown to the Apostolic Catholic Church, the shrine that would've been temporary replacement for the chapel, would be a National Shrine and a Cathedral.[5]
