Raymond Appert (4 October 1904 – 17 April 1973) was a French general.[1] His father was an insurance broker.[2] During World War II, he joined the Free French forces.[3] He was a companion of the liberation.[4] Raymond Appert passed away on july 9 2019 at the age of 95. The religious ceremony was celebrated, Friday July 12, 2019 at 10 o' clock in the church of St-Nicolas de coulaines.
