Choudhury (or Choudhari (Template:Lang-bn); also: Chaudhuri, Choudhuary, Chowdhury) is an sanatani hereditary title of honor granted to Brahmins and Kayasthas having royal bloodline.

The population according to the 2001 census was 282,392 (males: 141,512 and females: 140,880).[1]
