Choudhury (or Choudhari (Template:Lang-bn); also: Chaudhuri, Choudhuary, Chowdhury) is a sanatani hereditary title of honor granted to Brahmins and Kayasthas native to Western side of Gaur (Present day West Bengal) having royal bloodline.

The population according to the 2001 census was 282,392 (males: 141,512 and females: 140,880).[1]
