Who's 'Junius Spencer Morgan' father..? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Electron9 (talkcontribs)

"He was also the father of the more famous John Pierpont Morgan. In 1836, he married John Pierpont's daughter, Juliet."

The above statements obviously need to be corrected, unless the man really did marry his granddaughter.

Um, look at the John Pierpont article. An entirely different person to J. P. Morgan. Doesn't take a genius to work that one out. — Wackymacs 07:54, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

earliest ancestor

"The Morgan name is traced to Carmarthen, Wales, with his earliest known ancestor being Hyfaidd ap Bleddri, third son of Bledri ap Cydifor of Wales." Is this a joke? We know his "earliest" ancestor's father, yet he's somehow not earlier?

Moreover, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_tree_of_Welsh_monarchs shows Hyfaidd's ancestors going back to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloten_of_Dyfed_and_Brycheiniog c.650. 100.34.46.136 (talk) 14:12, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
