Bhagwati Devi Sharma was an Indian social reformer who was the co founder of AWGP[1][2] and patron founder of Akhand Jyoti[3].
Personal Life
She married Shriram Sharma in 1946[4].She assisted her husband Shriram Sharma to manage international family of All World Gayatri Pariwar and after death of Shriram Sharma she succeeded him as head of AWGP.[5] Her followers call her by the term 'Mataji'.[2][4]

- A school has been established in Jhansi which is named on her[6][7].
- Death anniversary of Bhagwati Devi Sharma was celebrated in Giridih[8].[9]
- In her death anniversary 105 lamps where lightened in Shantikunj.[10][11]
- Her death anniversary is celebrated as Prakaatya Diwas in Jharkhand.[12]
