Impacts were very minor in Vietnam and the Philippines damage can easily fit into a small paragraph in the season article. Typhoon Kalmaegi in 2019 had more impacts than this thing and doesn't have an article, lol. Hurricaneboy23 (page) * (talk) 14:38, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Then why don't you post an article for Krosa, Wipha, Nakri, Kalmaegi, Danas? The list goes on really really far. Surely those fit an article because they did "1 million in damage". Yeah totally. If there isn't any significant impacts then this article can be merged and re created later if there is more. For now, it should be gone. Its very short and undetailed. @Hurricaneboy23: I'll make articles for those. But you can't say we have to merge this because other don't have articles. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 22:22, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Its pretty clear this storm hasn't done much damage if there isn't much media coverage on it. Also your 'too soon' concept is like releasing a sequel to a video game which hasn't even come out. Also, good luck going over years and years of pacific typhoon seasons making articles for the hundreds of million-dollar storms... Hurricaneboy23 (page) * (talk) 22:24, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Hurricaneboy23: 2 million of damage is enough to warrant an article. There are articles that caused 1 million and no deaths in the EPAC and Atl basins. I just found some new info about the storm. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 22:37, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Meh, I'm still probably supporting a merge. If you could you should add more info about its impact in Vietnam, if any lol, which has also been suffering a series of floods. I still don't agree that its enough info for a whole article, (also considering the damage was pretty minor) and also especially with such a uncited meteorological history section (not sure how to fix that personally though). @Hurricaneboy23: For the MH, pinging Nino Marakot. I personally only know English, and a little Spanish and Chinese, but not Vietnamese. I think the damage in the Philippines is enough for an article, it's not a stub anymore. ~ Destroyeraa🌀 00:21, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
