Athena Institute Report

This report seems to have disappeared from the Internet, so if anyone can locate it, please insert the appropriate citation.--Soulparadox 13:06, 2 July 2012 (UTC)

Is it this one at http://www.athenasmi.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Demolition_Survey.pdf ? -- Trevj (talk) 10:10, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think you may have just repaired this omission—thank you kindly Trevj and I will insert the citation now.--Soulparadox (talk) 15:08, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

National Park Service 'Preservation Briefs'

These Preservation Briefs by the National Park Service could be useful here and elsewhere. -- Trevj (talk) 09:58, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Global content required

This is a universal topic, but the content is North American-specific. If there are any copywriters who can add material that concerns other parts of the world, the article will be vastly improved.--Soulparadox (talk) 15:30, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I'll see what UK stuff I can find some time, but unfortunately that won't be any time soon. -- Trevj (talk) 21:26, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Thanks for the prompt reply though!--Soulparadox (talk) 06:06, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Plumbing remodeling needed

A common problem among older homes in North America is the lack of toilet and shower in the basement. Because construction styles have changed over time and communities have different zoning requirements, some newer sewer lines exit the house on the basement side wall instead of below the basement foundation. An ejector system is necessary for these, however this should not be necessary for a sewer line existing through the basement floor. Both however, require breaking up the concrete foundation. A section should be added here to discuss the types of plumbing renovation and architectural requirements.

Proposed merge of Renovation into Home improvement

Both articles describe the same subject, and have largely similar content. —CrafterNova [ TALK ]  [ CONT ] 09:44, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I oppose the merge. I agree there are overlaps, but it seems to me this page includes both residential and non-residential buildings. If anything, I would merge the other way, as "home improvement" is one type of renovation. AdabhaelTalk 00:16, 12 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
