Niggermania is a far right extremist and white supremacist hate website which primarily posts derogatory content about people of African or "Black" ancestry. The website claims to "tell the truth about niggers", and refers to people of African ancestry as "apes", "coons", "monkeys", and "chimps" along with claims that black people are subhuman and undeserving of the same dignity afforded to everyone else.[1]
The site is notable because it tests the limits of free speech and has been subjected to an unprecedented campaign by attorneys for several civil rights legal organizations to revoke it's domain names and remove the website from the internet. [2]. Content from the Niggermania Website has been the subject of several police reports and has been actively used and distributed by white supremacist groups at public universities to advocate violence against Black students at these institutions [3].
The website has been taken offline several times as the result of AUP (acceptable use policy) and TOS (terms of service) legal complaints from numerous civil rights legal organizations and has had it's domain names revoked due to content posted on it's website which promotes violence against Black People. McAfee rates the site as "safe" but tagged as containing discriminatory content.[4] The website also posts graphic content replete with images of a burning Confederate flags and calls to set black people on fire and dispose of them, kill and skin them to make leather for furniture upholstery, and instructions for building a portable lynching machine used to lynch black people.[5][6][7]
