General notes about tennis event page structure

Maybe it's not the best place to start this discussion...

But every time I follow the current event's page and see how it's short description changed as tournament progressing, I feel that a lot of interesting information is lost.

I suggest every draw page like this one to have "Before tournament" section, that will contain all the information that was relevant before tournament start (milestones of any kind that can be achieved, ranking contention, active streaks, last winner, withdrawals etc). All the information that shouldn't be affected by the tournament outcome. Ilyan (talk) 08:45, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
