Daily Kent Stater
The Daily Kent Stater is a student newspaper produced for Kent State University and its regional campuses. It is published Monday-Friday during the fall and spring semesters and once a week during summer semesters. During summer semesters the name is changed to Summer Kent Stater.
Content
A typical Daily Kent Stater will consist of 8-12 pages in one or two sections. Content spans from college concerns to local issues to national news.
Editorials from students and guest columnists appear Monday-Friday in the Fourum department.
Sports receives its own department on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Features receives its own department on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The weekly entertainment section ALL (arts life and leisure)appears on Thursdays.
Staff
The staff of the Daily Kent Stater is made up entirely of undergraduate and graduate students, most of which are enrolled in Kent State's journalism program.
The editing staff changes each semester. Most editors hold their positions for one semester then change to another position for the following semester.
