One Day International series

The Afghanistan cricket team is touring Sri Lanka in November 2022 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches.[1] These matches form part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.[2] All three matches are being played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.[3]

Before the start of the series, Sri Lanka's Bhanuka Rajapaksa requested his release from the squad.[6] Pramod Madushan was also ruled out of Sri Lanka's squad due to injury; Nuwanidu Fernando and Milan Rathnayake respectively were named as replacements.[7]
