Notes

A gifted player who is set to make a big money move..but after the world cup. Rated as the future of Croat football while at Dinamo. Has turned out some fantstic performances fro Hajduk and Croatia. A big match player which was proven when he scored against Brazil in a 1_1 draw in Split.

he can't be considered "austrian"just because he was born there.

He was born in Austria since his father played there during his active career.

He lived in Austria for the first 7 years of his life.

He was actually born in Zagreb.

==February 2013==

Reassessment as a part of 2012/2013 WP:CRO drive, performed on 20 February 2013:

  • B1 - criterion not met: The article has significant shortcomings in terms of referencing. There are substantial parts of prose and stats without any references. It is absolutely necessary that each paragraph contains at least one reference to a WP:RS, hence the criterion is not met.
  • B2 - criterion not met: A short paragraph on personal life would be welcome. Nothing major is needed in this respect, just enough prose to back up what's in the infobox - for instance that he was born in 1984 in Zagreb, and a couple of other items normally found in similar articles on athletes. Shouldn't be hard to fix, I presume.
  • B3 - criterion met.
  • B4 - criterion met. Some copyediting would be welcome though.
  • B5 - criterion met.
  • B6 - criterion met.
Summary: A great deal of work went into this article. It is clearly short of B-class criteria in terms of referencing, but it possesses great potential to grow. Reassessed to C-class for now.--Tomobe03 (talk) 14:07, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
