C.B.C Interview
In an interview on the C.B.C. a few years ago, with Anna Marie Tremonti, and Gloria Steinam, Ms. Steinam did not mention anything about her mental illness and how it may have affected her early life.
Imagine a child of 8 years old, having to look after her sick mother, while her father had left, obviously the stress had some impacts.
Anna Marie Tremonti, asked one last question, 'what about your mothers mental illness'. Gloria Steinam's response ? "My mother's mental illness was Patriarchy".
Not a very logical answer to the real problem, and it seems Gloria blamed it all on Patriarchy. Not fair at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.79.147.13 (talk) 02:42, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
Criticism missing
I am missing aid to the false satanic abuse persecutions etc. see here https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2013/12/01/gloria_steinem_represents_the_worst_of_modern_feminism_120818.html Zezen (talk) 08:42, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

Women Only Seder Hard to Understand
It's written, "In 1976, the first women-only Passover seder was held in Esther M. Broner's New York City apartment and led by Broner, with 13 women attending, including Steinem." That may be a reliable source, but the sentence is unclear. Judaism is thousands of years old. I find it hard to believe that in all that time there weren't seders attended by only women. Think about the women confined to a camp in the holocaust or women in prison, wouldn't they have held women-only seders? Or a widow with her daughters? Perhaps somebody who has access to the original source can clarify what was special about the 1976 seder. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.210.115.100 (talk) 20:47, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
"While her parents divorced under the stress of her mother's illness, Steinem did not attribute it at all to chauvinism on the father's part — she claims to have "understood and never blamed him for the breakup."
On a C.B.C. radio interview, in the 2010's, Gloria was asked about her mothers mental illness, something she had totally ignored in the interview. Gloria's response, "my mothers mental illness was patriarchy".
Tragic that Gloria, a small girl, would be so traumatized by her mothers mental illness, and may have blamed 'patriarchy' for it.

CIA
I have just read "My life on the road", and could not find anything on the CIA. The reference cited for claiming that Steinem speaks in her book about her work for the CIA leads to an article that mentions both the book and her work for the CIA, but does not link both. --178.142.129.83 (talk) 15:57, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
