Disambiguation link notification for February 20
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Russian frigate Admiral Gorshkov, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mil. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:11, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

I'm going to assume that this was an honest mistake of some sort. Please read WP:TPO. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:58, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
thanks
you were correct. i somehow failed to notice the super-obvious reference to bbc... somehow. · · · Omnissiahs hierophant (talk) 20:54, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
- Yes I think BBC can be trusted here. Hopefully we'll get official or semiofficial specifications of Poseidon someday (I know how unrealistic this is). Blueginger2 (talk) 09:51, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Rsk6400 (talk) 06:27, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Prolog. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Odesa, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Prolog (talk) 12:13, 20 November 2022 (UTC)

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Reverting edits to your user pages?
Hi there! I see you reverted many edits made by BattyBot to your user pages to change article categories to category links per WP:USERNOCAT. Could you please help me understand why you restored the article categories? Would you prefer to use an alternate method to make sure your user pages are not improperly categorized, such as using {{Draft categories}} or <nowiki>...</nowiki>
or <!--...-->
? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 20:26, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- I can't help you. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blueginger2 (talk • contribs) 21:47, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- I'm sure you can help with the first question, so I'll rephrase it. Why did you revert my bot's edits? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 05:46, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
