License tagging for Image:Gira.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Gira.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:06, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Image:CoolpixS10_2.jpg listed for deletion
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it, but use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. JDtalk 15:25, 11 December 2006 (UTC)Copyright violation
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Coolpix S10 article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. JDtalk 15:37, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Re:Reverting back
Hi! Welcome to Wikipedia. Actually there are some guidelines on how the articles should look. Per that, articles should begin with a concise lead section followed by appropriate sections. Articles should not begin with a large image. You can see Help:Contents for all kind of helps you need. Please also see Wikipedia:What is a featured article? to understand the guidelines for a featured article (the best of Wikipedia's articles). Welcome again. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 06:03, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. Regrettably, I have declined your request as you do not have 500 mainspace edits. You are welcome to apply again at a later time. Feel free to contact me with any questions, alphachimp 00:10, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Re:Pune Edits
As most of the links are links to commercial sites, It is a violation of Wikipedia's external link policy (WP:EL). If there are no wikipedia articles links, then rather not have links to such articles. Moreover, the external links are irrelevant to the article. -- Naveen (talk) 13:59, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
Your images
Hi,
I see that you have uploaded a number of useful images. For future, I suggest that you upload images at commons, so that all wikipedias (even the non-English ones) can use your images. Another thing, I saw that you have uploaded two identical images, one by the name Mumbai BMC Headquaters.jpg and other Mumbai BMC headquarters.jpg. I suggest that you mark one of them (preferably this one for deletion by using {{db-author}} on the image description page. Regards, — Ambuj Saxena (☎) 14:56, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
A list and a directory are different!
Regarding Ranchi
It was list of schools and not a directory with their addresses and phone numbers!
I do not think a list of links is a directory, if it is such many wikipedia articles will need scrutiny.
Why will the list be useful,
- If someone is looking for information about schools in Ranchi, you don't expect him to know the names of all schools,
- Develope Wikipedia, majority of the Wikipedia users in Ranchi and India are students, students can contribute articles about their schools, it is not expected everyone keys in the complete address of a wikipedia page to have a look at it.
- More importantly, if you do not know then pages on the WWW are written in HTML which is Hypertext Markup Language, thus Hypertext or Links are an integral part of web pages, you cannot even expect Wikipedia to grow without links,
So, I am reverting the page back, as
It is NOT a directory, does not contain just names and addresses, but a list of wikipedia articles related to a topic i.e. Schools in Ranchi.
