Merge?

I believe Elbridge Bryant should be merged into this article until more sources can be added to back up the rest of the information in the article (only a single source exists as of now, and the article contains very contentious things that I think should be sourced). Erpert blah, blah, blah... 13:49, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

the lack of inline references is a problem, quite a bit of the text is about the group and I am unsure if Bryant passes as independently notable given that two of the books listed are also about the group, rather than the individual. EdwardUK (talk) 16:50, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I see three reference sources, but only one linked reference. The article stub was made most likely during the time the mini-series was airing on TV/cable (thus the very out-of-date way of referencing things). On one hand, I see the need for the article since he was a original/founding member. On the other hand, I see only 6-10 group members having full articles thus it could be said there are too many article/article stubs concerning group members (as well as songs/singles). I'll need to think on this.--Halls4521 (talk) 22:25, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Elbridge Bryant article has been merged to The Temptations

Merge Ricky Owens? (And to which article?)

After 12-13 years, there has been no references added to the Ricky Owens article. He was with both The Temptations and The Vibrations. Is there any way we can find some references for his article? If not, should and can we merge his article? And if we do merge it, which group article should we merge it with? (I'm currently leaning towards The Vibrations article as he was with that group longer then the Tempts.)--Halls4521 (talk) 00:44, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong information

My dad, Jerome Averette was in the singing group the Cavaliers that started in Birmingham, Alabama. Where my dad, Eddie and Paul left here and moved to Ohio. So why isn’t he mentioned. He would replace members at gigs if they didn’t show up. When the group broke up he was a studio singer for RCA records. 2600:6C58:1500:14AC:A909:DC69:FEFA:632 (talk) 00:37, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide some published reliable sources that show he performed with the group. —C.Fred (talk) 00:39, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

On the proof

That’s my dad on the left and Jig Franklin who is in the group as well. And Jig is Melvin Franklin’s brother. 24.178.184.63 (talk) 00:51, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

I have a picture I can send you that has him and David Ruffin with other members on stage singing, preforming. 2600:6C58:1500:14AC:4518:F1DA:C5C4:8BD9 (talk) 01:03, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Add him as a member

All I am asking is for him to added as a member of his group. He is the founding member of the Cavaliers. 2600:6C58:1500:14AC:4518:F1DA:C5C4:8BD9 (talk) 01:05, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
