Ihor Volodymyrovych Klymenko (Template:Lang-uk; born 25 October 1972) is a Ukrainian police general serving as the acting minister of internal affairs since 18 January 2023. He suceeded Denys Monastyrsky following his death in a helicopter crash.[1] He has been the chief of the National Police of Ukraine since 25 September 2019.[2]

Early life and education

Klymenko was born on 25 October 1972 in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR, USSR. He graduated from the Kharkiv Military University and the Odesa University. He gained his master's degree from the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs.
