Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Perivoli Foundation
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Perivoli Foundation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Welcome!
Hello, Leecullen14, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Hello Leecullen14. You used the {{Help me}}
template, but you wanted an answer from a specific editor. If you still need help, please add your question to that editor's talk page instead, or reply to them here using the {{Reply to}} template. Alternatively, you can ask your question at the Teahouse, the help desk, or join Wikipedia's Live Help IRC channel to get real-time assistance.- Hi Jimfbleak and thank you for your feedback. I did submit this article for review rather than straight to publish to make sure I followed the guidelines correctly, so I really appreciate you coming back to me so quickly. Also apologies for anything that was incorrect, it was not my intention to do anything wrong. I think by removing two of the paragraphs in then original copy, this article should then meet the encyclopaedic style of Wikipedia. I think the userspace draft as you suggest would be the best next step, but I just wanted to check if you agree? Thank you.

- Leecullen14, I won't see messages here unless you link to my user name and sign in the same edit, as Primefac has done for you. One important point is that you have not responded to my COI query above. You must do so if you don't want to risk being blocked as an undeclared paid editor Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:53, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
- Jimfbleak thank you - first time using the chat facility! On the COI point I am working with the Foundation, so am creating this page on their behalf. This is why I wanted to submit the article for review and feedback. It is a charitable foundation and I did believe the article to be neutral in tone and information, so I believed I was following the guidelines. Please let me know if there is something more I need to do on that though?

- Since you are working for the foundation, it is mandatory that you copy the following as you see it on to your user page at User:Leecullen14 and save it {{paid|user=Leecullen14|employer=Perivoli Foundation|client=}} Jimfbleak - talk to me? 14:05, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
- Jimfbleak okay thanks for sharing that, I have now updated it so please let me know if that's okay. Is there anything else I should do before progressing to the revised draft? Leecullen14 (talk) 19:27, 24 October 2022 (UTC)

- You could give some info on the organisation itself. Where is it based? How many employees? What is its income, and how much does it spend. You might consider an infobox; see for example Oxfam Jimfbleak - talk to me? 08:39, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
- Jimfbleak thank you that sounds like a great idea. Should I look to do that in a new userspace draft and re-submit for feedback? Really appreciate all of your guidance with this. 2A02:C7C:2E2D:5600:94C4:87E6:9454:224 (talk) 08:09, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

Yes, I think that's the way to go Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:00, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Jimfbleak I hope you are well. I have followed your advice and created a new draft with an infobox in the userspace draft so I hope that has gone into the review process. The link is Leecullen14/sandbox/Perivoli Foundation - if you had a moment to share any feedback that would be very helpful. If not I'm happy to wait for another editor to review, but hopefully this all looks okay! Thank you in advance. Leecullen14 (talk) 12:24, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- I've cleaned up what you have put, but the organisation appears to have no headquarters, staff, income or expenditure, so you haven't given any indication of notability. Also, your refs are affiliated with the foundation or quoting/interviewing it. We need independent third-party sources, not the organisation telling us about itself. Minor points; two of the refs just give a title, but not the source, and the logo should be in the infobox, using
- | logo =
- | logo_size =
- | logo_caption =

Perivoli Foundation moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Perivoli Foundation, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
